The Albies - Luis Carlos Díaz

Luis Carlos Díaz is a journalist, cyberactivist, and human rights defender who bravely exposes human rights abuses in the country. Despite being detained and tortured in 2019, he remains unwavering in his fight for freedom of expression, using his platform to amplify accountability efforts, including the ongoing International Criminal Court investigation into crimes against humanity committed in #Venezuela. We were proud to honor him with our Justice for Journalists award at #TheAlbies for his courage and dedication to the truth.
