Thanks for this terrific posting. Until now I was only aware of the studio recording with this cast. And one with Ms. Price and Pavarotti about the same time. Also, are the voices a tad darker, or maybe just my ears?

The incident with Bonisolli and the sword happened in the dress rehearsal. He was replaced by Domingo for the actual performances, which were televised and can be seen on TH-cam.
