Putting bananas in the fridge/freezer helps to ripen them. But it makes them sweeter and more moist to bake with! If you have bananas going bad that you won’t eat then throw them in the freezer and any time you need to bake with a banana pull it out and let it thaw and they’ll be amazing to bake with!
I honestly hope state board fined them!! I went through 1.5 semesters of cosmetology (was pregnant and too ill to attend class so I had to drop out 😬), and it was drilled into our brains during the first semester how IMPORTANT proper sanitization is!! I would seriously get up and leave if someone tried using used tools on me!

The thing is that you made a negative into a positive and the salon has learnt a valuable lesson. You shouldn’t feel embarrassed hun as you have made sure that they follow the correct guidelines etc. You did a fantastic thing for all their customers since. Your video has forced them into doing things the correct way so hopefully there will be a lot of clients now going there and not having the same disgusting treatment and tools that you had, so seriously pat yourself on your back. I can’t step foot in any nail salon without being dissatisfied like when I was younger they used to put my nails on either hand together to make sure they were even which made me happy because it showed they cared, like how do they really let you leave with crooked or uneven nails. Also when I was younger, dust has flown onto my nail and they re-did it on their own without scoffing or me asking for them to fix it and now I don’t see any service like that anymore. If they’re professionals that are licensed to do this, how are they really going to complain about being criticized when they know they’re being lazy. They must know they aren’t being professional.. I just want to go some where clean and don’t feel an uncomfortable silence or where they speak their language to each other next to me where I feel like they’re dissing me, it’s just rude because once a couple lady’s were talking about my mother in law, they were talking about her nails, she was just getting a fill but they were discussing trying to get her a new set but she really didn’t need one... but that discussion should’ve been between her and the lady doing her nails. It just feels disrespectful.. I just wish I could actually relax and they can do their job without me making sure my nails are even, or they cut my cuticles enough or too much, grinded my nails too much, cut my nails too short, or cleaned my nails enough, or got all the calluses off my feet, or actually massages my feet or legs (I’ve had a lady just rub her hands on me for 15 minutes and I got a luxury package...) or made them the right shape for my hands, or know different nail shape terms, or my nail has bubbles, or their tools are cleaned, or I got the right color I picked from their sample selection... If they’re professional then I shouldn’t have to worry about those things and I also can’t stand when they ask to add to your package to make more money off you.. Why aren’t there regular places you can pay a decent price for decent service and all the things I mentioned adds up to me not even wanting to bother going to a salon. I’m not licensed but I’m better off doing them myself and that saddens me. It should not be so much to ask for decent service from a licensed professional!!!! That place sucks for how they treated you ☹️ I feel guilty for complaining when it’s about people working on other peoples nails on their hands and feet but a salon should be a place people can go to relax and get pampered and feel fine and well after.

I have so many salons in my city that I can’t go into anymore for calling them out for using used tools or improperly labeling “powered gel” I took a gel nail esthetician course so I always felt compelled to advise them that it’s illegal to mislabel product and that their clients could sue them for any allergic reactions on a mislabeled product. They were quick to change what they were using on myself and whoever I went with but they don’t ever change their ways. Glad the salon you went to got a social media reality check.
Oh yeah, I understand completely the ways they cut corners to be fast. It kinda makes me glad I don't often go to Nail salons. I'm lucky the few times I have. I didn't get something.

Why wouldn't she just have the one set she needs at the moment? I also wonder if the items they are putting in the make-shift garbage bag is being done b/c they are recycling them later (out of sight of prying eyes) and reusing them on another client. Don't you dare be embarrassed because you were busted - THEY should be embarrassed because THEY were busted. I hate it when someone does something (clearly) wrong and then you are blamed for pointing it out, or you feel guilty for pointing it out. Hold your head up high, girl.
