  • The line forms here for the world s greatest and possibly most influential band--Led Zeppelin! Band members supervised the remastering and Dolby 5.1 remixing of the film s image and sound. Featuring performances of such classics as "Dazed and Confused," "Stairway to Heaven" and "Whole Lotta Love," this mesmerizing movie built around Zep s famed 1973 concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden is convincing proof why. In addition to their performances, The Song Remains the Same features fantasy sequences and at-home glimpses of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham. This 2-disc Special Edition has over 40 minutes of newly-added extra features including two never-before-released performances ("Celebration Day" and "Over the Hills and Far Away"). There is also vintage TV footage of the band's arrival in Tampa, Florida (for their record-breaking performance), the famous Drake Hotel Robbery (which took during their concert stand in New York), and a BBC interview with lead singer Robert Plant and band manager Peter Grant.

Not sure if you're trolling, bit either way the hand gestures are actually playing an instrument.. The theremin, it's the antenna you see.. As he makes various hand gestures, different kind of tones come out of the speakers, so he's playing an instrument throughout one of their songs.

John Paul Jones made that whole thing happen.
Bonzo was basically keeping time (with more artistry than any other drummer could possibly do) and Page/Plant were doing call/response. If not for the bass and drums, the call/response would just be Yoko Ono-type noise. But that tight bass tied everything together and made it compelling.
