That was pretty clever! I like that it still has the Standard width capacity so that you can still store it. With the encapsulated design and the cross bracing you shouldn’t need to add rollers. Doing so would make moving it around more awkward. Those stands don’t maneuver well under load, with four wheels. Six might be a beast to move. I like it… looking forward to watching it work!
Thanks, when I’m working outside is the summer lifting things normally isn’t an issue. Excavators and skidsteers help then lol. But in my garage I only have 8 ft ceilings, so this hopefully will do the trick. I was worried about flex at the joint when I put weight on, but now that it’s built I don’t think I will need the either.
Ok, now that some time has past I think it is safe to say you are very glad to have a smart wife to help encourage you to think about it in different ways :p
