"A clown, and what did they do with his head???" just as a chain saw started up in the background!!!!! It did get atmospherically spooky there for some seconds!
We feel that the little piggy and that marvelous pen should be displayed in the window of wonders, the piggy brings joy and the pen represents an inspiring person.
What a wonderful day of gems the little animal figures are just lovely thanks for the history behind the unusual finds love it all you I made my day and so glad you had a super time with Sarah and Mick.
I vote for the pen, the owl, and the pig to go into the window of wonders. What a great time you had. We so enjoy all the bits of history you add. Always learn something new. Stay well, God bless.
I would have kept the rose. You could make it into a design to hang from a window. Think how pretty it would be when the sun hit it! But that’s me. Bless you and yours. Ps love the pig!
The ink pen has a wonderfully elegant curve. I think the manganese bottle should go in the window so it can continue to develop its delicate purple hue.
That was great fun, despite the frigid temps. 🥶😁 I nominate Mr. Barff's bottle for the Window of Wonders, because it made me laugh a lot. Also, if you can stand being parted, Alex, the little piggy. 😜😝😂 The dark green Codd marble was the best find, I think. I'm sure it's exceptionally rare. I've seen both videos now, and I envy you-all your Christmas spirit and camaraderie. See you next week. 😊🥰🤗💛👍
I love the Singer bottle. I have my great grandmother's Singer treadle. She taught me how to use it, and I used to make my own stuffed animals. She made a lot of my clothes, and gave me all of her scraps to use for my projects. Such warm and happy memories!
A wonderful video ladies, looked like a lovely day was had by all. My favourite was the dipping pen & what a surprise that you're related to the maker! Glorious!
You both found some amazing things and I know you will make some beautiful things out of these finds. Great fun watching you both trying to get the frozen stuff out of the mud. 😂😂😂 Sarah and Mick are really good people, I love their videos. Have a great evening.
Such interesting finds in the frosty soil, love the little head and the animals! You made me laugh Alex with - a childs toothbrush, dentures and 'whats this?' I thought it was going to be a childs tooth.. but no, 'its a bead'. ha ha . Great day out with your pals, thanks for sharing. Have a great week.
Bonjour Gail & Alex, been watching many mudlarking Utubers.... yours is the best of them all! Thank you Sanndra from Montreal I find it ute that you call a sweater a JUMPER
Thanks a lot for an adventure! Such a pity when whole ceramic lids remain in the trash and hundreds of broken things find a second life in your workshops) I suggest using such things as bases for desktop compositions. For example, a writing set or a spice set)))
I think the owl and the pen would fit in the window. I knew exactly what it was when you picked up the pen. Interesting back story and how amazing to find out that you are related. ❤❤
Oh goodness so many lovely things. Did I spot a Dachshund? If so that would be my choice for the window, I love them. The Singer bottle is gorgeous and I’m now on a quest to find one 😀. Thank you for a lovely video.
I was really impressed on the condition of the old pen .Considering it’s age and it being buried so long,it’s in a nice condition ,great that you found matching nibs for it too.I learnt to write with a pen like this.As I got a bit older I got a fountain pen.Much better than dipping in the ink all the while.I still used one most of my High School years too. The pig was also a great find ,along with all the unusual bottles too.thanks for taking us on your adventure..Love n Light 🥰
Wonderful lark guys. I never thought that the jars and bottles would crack because of the cold. At the moment we have been having high 30 degree heat , no 40's yet thank goodness. I think the little pig and perhaps the green bottle as it's a beautiful color would look nice in your window. Thanks for the great video as usual from Sharon from Australia. 🙂
First it looked like you found Harry Potters wand and then an Owl.First Alex it looks like you found Harry Potters wand and then the Owl. Loved both of your finds, your videos are exciting and relaxing to watch finds
I was so disappointed that Alex didn't take that carnival glass, I was talking aloud to the screen saying take it, it's gorgeous! Oh well, perhaps someone else can find it and give it a good home, re-purposed as a sun catcher.
Please put the owl in the window of wonders with Mudlarking Barbie. The green cod marble is awesome, and the Singer bottle is amazing. I know it's broken, and you can't take everything, but I really liked the orange floral piece of glass at 28:02.
I just Love the little piggy! (So would a friend of mine who collects piggies and is a descendant of William Wallace). I know you can't give the piggy away though. I also like the sewing machine oil bottle. If you put that in a sunny window, it will bring the color out. The most fantastic find though was the ink pen. How fantastic it is that you learned you are related! However, if you put that in the Window of Wonder, I'm afraid the sunshine will fade the color. Therefore, the sewing machine oil bottle should go there. Great finds, ladies!
Wow, I love the history on the pen holder, and to find you are related must be an amazing feeling! The little lead animals are so gorgeous, especially the owl. Wonderful video Ladies 😀💗 x
I love that you all are friends and kudos to Mick and Sarah for bringing the tea kettle and Christmas dinner! I hope Sarah (or someone) took that pretty lid home. Brr! I hope it warms up soon.
It's looks cold there it is here in Tennessee too, I know your fingers freeze while your digging, but this is the weather I like digging in and it's always good to have friends to dig with. Love yalls videos and hearing about the history of the find from your part of the world.
Love when you get together with Sarah and Mick ❤ I think you should add the little pig to your window this week so cute ❤ and off course we can’t forget the lovely black marble love it ,can’t wait for your next adventure 🎉
That first little aqua bottle that you found is lovely. Would be pretty in a row with other aqua bottles and some small sea glass or beads in it. Sleepy pig would be a good addition to the window of wonders.
Yeah ladies I am so thrilled to see you both 🥰😍🥰😍😍😍❤️😍🥰, come on to my side of the pond and we can dig native American treasures, I live in Pigeon Forge Tennessee USA, a great place to dig very close to Cherokee , North Carolina, God 🙏 bless you both ❤️❤️❤️
Lovely video ladies. Alex perhaps the dump was trying to tell you something?? 😊 All those children’s things? What s great way to celebrate the Holiday.
Love all your wonderful finds today! The little piggy that didn't go to market deserves a place on the window sill. The other little animals could join him! ❤️😍
Please add the little piggie match striker, Very cute and it's whole! Maybe stick a small garden trowel in your bag when you lark in these places as you don't know what you could find just under the surface. The history you give us of so many of your finds is wonderful! .
"A clown, and what did they do with his head???" just as a chain saw started up in the background!!!!! It did get atmospherically spooky there for some seconds!

Hi ladies that felt like it was a cold Adventure. obvious to me that the most wondrous gift was the little piggy!
I vote for the pen, the owl, and the pig to go into the window of wonders. What a great time you had. We so enjoy all the bits of history you add. Always learn something new. Stay well, God bless.
I have fallen in love with the darling piglet! I also liked the lead toys. Frozen ground and you still find treasures. Amazing!
I would have kept the rose. You could make it into a design to hang from a window. Think how pretty it would be when the sun hit it! But that’s me. Bless you and yours. Ps love the pig!

I know, it was annoying! xx
Definitely the little piggy! Another great lark, thanks for taking us along 😍
I absolutely love the tiny little bottles! Makes you wonder what came in them. And Alex's fascination with dentures makes me laugh!!!
That looked freezing but well worth it. The pig and the owl is my favourite but all good stuff.
I couldn't help but giggle each time you mentioned the "Barff" bottle.🤭😉Great video!
