Thanks for your comment. When the video was made I'd been playing for 27 years. How do you get good tone? I'd say listen by listening to clarinet players with the best tone and then try to imitate it by being very picky with how you sound. Trying to sound good on bad reeds I think helps and of course long tones on every note of your instrument and doing that every day if you can. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Usually I use the two side keys for F to Fsharp. I must have been having trouble with either tone or intonation with the two keys and I thought it was worth sacrificing a little smoothness for better tone quality and intonation. Thanks for your observation.
