I’ve heard about people who watched the 1997 film who have said that even they know what happened from watching the movie at least once, they still end up crossing their fingers hoping that Titanic would miss the iceberg.
I always thought the New York and Oceanic were in berth 46 but now seeing this and then looking at the evidence I was wrong. Thanks Blue Star Line for making me see my mistakes.
You're not wrong. The New York was the outside ship. People had to cross over the Oceanic to get a view of the Titanic from the New York's starboard side.
This is an awesome video that shows the 'New York incident' in a stunning animated masterpiece! May I make just one small suggestion? It captures the realism, of course, but could be improved with the indication of a 'wake' coming off of Titanic.

Really sorry to point this out, but you've got your depiction of the New York Incident pretty completely wrong. At the time of Titanic's departure, SS New York was "rafted", moored alongside and tied off to, RMS Oceanic, both ships having been put out of action by the coal strike. As Titanic left her berth and made the turn past the two ships toward open water, the suction created by the much larger ship passing too fast drew New York toward her, causing the mooring lines securing her to Oceanic to snap with sounds like gunfire. New York's stern drifted to within as little as 3ft of Titanic's side before the tugboat Vulcan got a line onto New York and stopped her drifting. Titanic was then stopped while other tugs drew New York away to the empty berth ahead of Oceanic before returning to Titanic, delaying her departure by an hour before she could proceed. Basically what it seems you've done is almost the opposite of what historically happened; placing New York in the forward berth where she ended up, not where she started (alongside Oceanic), and then swinging her own before Titanic passed rather than while she was passing.

Yes because we can see in the pictures at 5:00, Oceanic and SS New York were tied up side by side, if the New York was laid in front of oceanic, titanic would have passed oceanic and new york, if this happened then it is most likely oceanic would have broke free from her moorings and collided with the titanic.
When you ported that New York Model into the game, was the black box still around the ship and it's just hiding, or did you manage to remove itlike you did the funnel that needed to be removed too
Titanic wouldn't of been steaming like that from a standstill & the propellors wouldn't of started turning until the tugs would have towed her to deeper seas, 👍
Or if they didn't almost collide and stop ... They would've missed the iceberg by hundreds of meters and maybe be able to avoid the next one as well, or the whole field ... :-)
not to mention she had a fire raging in Boiler Room 6. It was put out on Sunday April 14th, 1912. White Star Line employees were told to remain silent or else. dude, hope you got clearance to use audio from the Motion Picture,.not to mention the music rights
Smoldering, not raging. And it was put out on Saturday the 13th, not Sunday. The crew may have *tried* to keep word from the passengers, but it got around anyway. Elizabeth (Mrs. T.W.S.) Brown mentioned it specifically in a Seattle, WA newspaper interview.
