Great Viedeo and amazing Camera. I myself own a SL3 which I basically really love. Though on my last trip I struggled a bit with its size and weight. It´s just not an everyday camera to carry around. So thinking about selling the SL3 and go for the very minimalistic and small style of the M11-D. I love the idea with shooting without a screen. What do you think about my plan? :)
Two different shooting styles and mind set, it offer you a slow lifestyle shoot and not weather sealed with ip54 compared to sl3. I suggest either q3 or m11d ,m11 for travel

I shoot like this with the flippy screen flipped around quite often. But when you have a wife with you that wants to see every photo, it might be worth it to have leica overcharge me by several thousands of dollars to get one of these cameras.
Your comment "The level of photographic Zen" says it all. No run and gun or drive by shooters. I enjoy my Q2M for that exact reason. Slow down, think, compose, and create. It makes you a better photographer in the long run.
I have Pentax Monochrome and I am forever flicking between Optical and Digital back. I like the idea of the D but not having a hybrid viewfinder is an issue. Also to view your pics after shooting street you can view your pics on your phone.
I tried out the Pixii in an attempt to get the Leica-D series experience but it doesn’t compare. Still hoping to find an M10-D since the M11 doesn’t add enough for me over the M10
I think people shooting film on a MP, M6 get the same feeling. It's amazing how leica delivers less but charges more. I think I will put gaffa tape on my M11M and see what the fuss is about

Even with the screen off my M11-P gets hot. Does this stay cool while shooting? And you sound like you’re in Singapore.

Visoflex can be one of the solution
Just buy a regular one and turn off the LCD if you can. You can on an M9 and an M240.
