It's as if Stellantis was trying to implement a business plan for maximum sabotage of anything and everything their customers wanted.. Would love to see a turn around... and reduced/rational pricing! Oh, and April's Garage is always a bright spot when it drops 😄
The Hemi is sticking around in the big trucks for a few more years. They're working on a new "magnum" V8 for the cars, but I doubt it finds its way into the HD stuff. The displacement is rumored to be 4.4L.
Yea I think the 6.4l is sticking around as a stop gap till cummins releases their new 7.2l diesel and 6.7l gas engines for Ram 3/4 and 1 tons. TFL Truck has teased both of these engines
Hoovie, if times with April gets worse and you start to question your relationship, remember, she says do not put LS's in old cars. SHE'S A KEEPER NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That, the lifter issue and exhaust manifold issue. I love my hemi and would like to buy another ram when my truck needs to be replaced. But I’m not going to buy one without a v8.
That was primarily a first gen hemi issue. The second gen (still didn't particularly like idling for too long/ wouldn't make enough oli psi at idle) and had bad exhaust manifold bolts. The 3rd gen hemis just have bad exhaust manifolds. Super prone to cracking. I've owned my 2022' Ram 1500 for 70k and have had no issues but are planning on getting longtubes once they do. Otherwise really bo issues. Pretty stout motors
I can imagine a buyer's frustration when they buy a Dodge Hemi powered whatever believing/being told that it's the end of the line and therefore would have the potential to gain (or at least not lose) value as a collector's car and then seeing them return in 2026 or whatever. That would leave me frustrated as a buyer.
The best part of Sema these days is seeing the 4-6 good cars and the endless compilations of Bluetooth drive shafts, missing parts, things not working, etc etc
There's been talk of a 6.7l has engine made by cummins for Ram 3/4 and 1 tons as well as a 7.2l cummins diesel. Idk if either are ready yet. Kinda think that's why they just put a 6.4 in that concept because it's a stop gap. The last 5.7l rolled off the line last December
Power Wagons are awesome, mission-oriented trucks. They cannot perform as needed with the inline 6, it simply does not have the stones to replace the 6.4 Hemi and still be able to heave that immense truck up steep slopes and over large rocks.
If only the "Brothers" banged their heads together to come up with a GN that had the body, wheels, and suspension of the black one with the drive train and interior of the gray one!
Within the next 12 months, Dodge will produce a 5.7L Hemi Charger as it seems that it can be accommodated in the new platform (sans R wing). My guess is that the 6.4L can also be shoehorned into the platform with minor adjustments to the front strut towers and the addition of a "power bulge" hood (like the 71-74 Chargers). I wonder if they will be able to sell the 4,000+ 2023 Chargers and Challengers accumulating lot rot on dealer showroom floors by then?
Jaguars concept vehicle on the XJ 220 had a V 12 in it also but production it has twin turbo V6 so Jessica the concept vehicle has a hemi does not mean production have a hemi
The thing that scares me most about the Hurricane 6 is the complexity is going to require it go to the dealer, my local dealer has made it quite clear their service department is not to be trusted, guess it's back to Fords and the wonderful V-7 engines and leaking cabs that according to my dealer is "normal" and "they're all that way" and never mind there's a TSB out on the leak.
In 1978 in my college Creative writing class I wrote a story about a guy in the year 2020 driving his 1970 Mustang around town. It was, as required by law, converted to EV. But he added a ultra realistic sound system to recreate the BOSS 429 ICE. Seems I have gotten pretty close to the truth. Thx
.. I agree, what's the point of showing a car that's not finished yet.. as a Brazilin I can't defend my fellows, not even Anderson's Delorean whit a Ferrari engine that's not finished yet.. but SEMA organization should put rules on that, accepting only cars that runs.
The problem with the power wagon is that even if they actually put it into production, they are gonna price it too high plus the dealer markups that most people won't want to buy anyway.
I hope they bring back the HEMI. Making the new Charger, Challenger in EV is a big mistake, even though I appreciate EV performance, the experience is the sound. Mind you in the truck I have a deposit on a RamCharger because I want some fuel economy. Both Grand Nationals were fantastic.
What's wrong with us is our inability/lack of desire to take the time to look below the surface, to think, to question especially when it involves items, issues, events which will affect us. We don't like grey, we want black and white. We want short answers to simple questions. We are where we are because we want the easy, the simple answers......
Stellantis is in full blown panic mode. They are just now realizing the Titanic hit the iceberg.
They have realised what they purchased wasn't what was on the can. The US brands are bleeding the profitable European brands dry.
Cerberus Capital Management sold this group to fiat just at the right time. They knew the future.
Unlike Jaguar….
Jaguar passed them somehow
Naturally aspirated V8 engines which are reliable as well as simple and easy to repair are the way to go.
The aftermarket parts suppliers love you! So do the junk yards full of blown up V-8's and replacement ones to sell you!
Jaguar?
Completely betrayed their legacy and heritage.
lol yeah. but i will give them the benefit of the doubt. and will wait for their new lineup before i make fun of them.
Yeah, but is it the fault of the current owner of Jaguar?

April and Hovvie the both of you bring so much class to the automotive industry
April totally calling Tyler out for dutch-ovening her! 🤣 "You don't need a refresher, you know exactly what that is!"
The Hemi is sticking around in the big trucks for a few more years. They're working on a new "magnum" V8 for the cars, but I doubt it finds its way into the HD stuff. The displacement is rumored to be 4.4L.

The Internal Combustion Engine is KING! The V8 (and above) is the crown!!!!
Yes, glad to kick Biden Harris out. No electric mandates! I’m keeping my V8.
Hoovie, if times with April gets worse and you start to question your relationship, remember, she says do not put LS's in old cars. SHE'S A KEEPER NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Ring Brothers build is so nice!!
Tyler is now equipped with the knowledge of what a Dutch oven is. Be careful, April!
My favorite TH-cam channel! April’s Garage! Also Hoovie’s Garage ! Is my favorite TH-cam channel too!
Hoovie is my favorite Pubic Hair Trimmer Salesman‼️
If they do bring back the hemi, hopefully, they bring it back without the "tic" issues

April needs to buy her own GNX Regal
Where's the cat, the star from "good morning TH-cam"?
The big screen in back is totally cool!

I loved the GN w/LS with the NASCAR look!!
I can imagine that Plymouth GTX with the biggest available hemi stuffed under the hood. It’s a cool looking car.
The best part of Sema these days is seeing the 4-6 good cars and the endless compilations of Bluetooth drive shafts, missing parts, things not working, etc etc
The rc booth was the best part of the show. Redcat had a Nissan #hardbody they're releasing next year.
98% are crap.
Wisconsin’s own Ring Brothers killing it as always!
Straight 6 Hurricane hasn’t been announced for 3/4 ton trucks. 6.4 hemi or cummins. Is the only 2 engines available.
Only gonna be back for 1 year though then the hemis are gone
The Ring Bros. are fucking awesome!!!
I think the GTX is pretty cool
Jaguar looks like it's straight out of Demolition Man or Robocop now. 1980's retro futurism
Demolition Man was my first thought when I saw the clothing in that Jag ad.
Look up Clay Millican and Geofrey Lutz 57 chevy with a hydrogen hemi powered v8........its so cool and old skool.....
Toyota had some banger concepts this year, but guaranteed those wont make it to production.
Still waiting for my Tundra Dualie from 2007-2008 Toyota.
Love the Mopar Electromod.
Ring Brothers cars are just flawless 🤤
Grand national which is a Buick and is owned by GM so yes , you can put a LS in it no big deal
Sama as a joke. There’s probably a reason why I’ve never been to Sema.
That SLR looks like the original TV Batmobile with a Speed Racer paint scheme
Richard rawlings testarossa was great it looked cool asf
I love you, April & Tyler, always have, always will...Hoo-Rah!!!
Man I’m missing Neelix and her “I’m here “ moments.
Hoovie, I believe the 6.4 was and is always available in 2500 series.
I feel for you Hoovie. Todays sema is horrible
Ma brotha Hoovie, looking like a young Miguel Bose! Love this channel!
Power Wagons are awesome, mission-oriented trucks. They cannot perform as needed with the inline 6, it simply does not have the stones to replace the 6.4 Hemi and still be able to heave that immense truck up steep slopes and over large rocks.
That Ring Brother Grand National was perfection. April deserves one if Tyler rates a Bugatti. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
We will get GTA VI before Hoovie reveals the blue Mustang...
Your channel is my therapy.
The original RAM power wagon, the one from Simon & Simon can't be beat.
The Gas Monkey OBS-truck has glass roof also.
HOOVIE 100% correct on SEMA.
I agree with April. Grand Nationals are amazing. But what do I know. I love my 89 Corvette.
The Roadster Shop AND the Ring Bros. GN's are an equally hard choice for me.
April what about that glass roof on the black truck. That was the crazy part.
Robby Layton did a build for onx and it was functional and showed what they could do
its Aprils show and she is crazy for grand nationals.
"You've Stolen my Dreams and my Childhood, with your empty words."
I don't know, someone else said that the concept Power Wagon that was there was just a rolling shell with NO ENGINE in it.!
Best channel and daily upload
I woulda liked Hoovies opinion on the old school Mustang drift build DriftHQ was working on
Revisit Australia in the 60's with a straight 6 Hemi
Time to send the GrandCamino off to Ring Brothers!
You forgot to mention the Clear glass roof on Gas Monkeys truck. Also, the taillights are crazy. But I forgive you. Love the show!
I’m with Hoovie on this one.
If only the "Brothers" banged their heads together to come up with a GN that had the body, wheels, and suspension of the black one with the drive train and interior of the gray one!
April we love T&T garage 😂
I agree with Tyler about SEMA.
I actually like when they electrify classic cars.
That is an abomination doing that to any car making it electric
Hemi WILL BE BACK in the new Charger!
I love both mercedes

The grand national LS7 twin turbo is very tasteful and a twin turbo LS7 is the perfect engine for that car
I don't know, i can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with April. Also i kinda like that red Benz
That LS GNXXX was sick looking
When do we get a video on the blue mustang downstairs?
One hundred percent agree. SEMA jumped the shark.
Jaguars concept vehicle on the XJ 220 had a V 12 in it also but production it has twin turbo V6 so Jessica the concept vehicle has a hemi does not mean production have a hemi

Can you buy either the I6 or the electric Chrysler products?
I should imagine Hoovie looked exactly the same as this thumbnail the first time he saw april topless😂
For April - just saw a release that Kendrick Lamar has dropped a new album titled “GNX” and the cover art has a Grand national….
The Jaguar advert!?
My thought too
Weird! Felt like a Queen music video or lady Gaga
Did you see the 3 minute short Volvo put out? A complete 180 from the Jag ad!
@@USAWILLfelt like a clothing brand commercial. I feel like maybe they’re trying to make women their new demographic of buyers

HEMI 🇺🇸
Hot Rod builders will make the electric conversions because it's different
Tyler, the Power Wagon is an HD. Only the LD 1500s get the Hurricane, for now. It is no surprise the Hemi 6.4 soldiers on in the HDs

What’s with the Mach 1 mustang?
Please just give that car a chance she is right needs jack builds it😊😊
What's that purplish car behind April 🤔
The problem with the power wagon is that even if they actually put it into production, they are gonna price it too high plus the dealer markups that most people won't want to buy anyway.
2500 ram trucks never lost the 6.4 hemi, they never said they were removing it.
April...you know Tyler put a LS in a Porsche...soooooooo you have a lot of work to do! LOL
BTW that's not actually a Lamborghini engine it's a LS with a Lamborghini intake manifold. People who took a closer look quickly found him out
Let’s hope Mopar bring back big V8s, Chargers, Challengers, Durangos maybe a new Neon or the dart
