What a place. It would have been awesome to see the original field hospital still fully equipped in its original state. Looks like it was well ventilated. I hope that they will be able to be preserved. Can't imagine that there were over 40 bunkers in that German Luftwaffe WW2 site. Thank you EE and HH. Looking forward to P2. 💕

It always amazes me how you guys manage to find these bunkers, and positions, in the middle of these overgrown forrested areas. So kudos to you both for such great exploring. The hospital bunker was so interesting, and surprising. The cramped size of the rooms forced by the thickness of the walls, and ceiling, got me the most. It is hard to imagine what that place would have been like to work, or be treated, in, when it was operational, with all the medical equipment installed, and staff everywhere. And the constant sound of the generator in the lower level, thumping away, pushing air through the place. Certainly would not have been that pleasant a place to work! Thank you both for all your hard work and efforts to bring us such interesting, out of the way, places. Looking forward to the next parts of this explore! Stay Safe!

While a lot of these bunkers look the same, if you pay attention you can see differences in them. All the drainage in the floor are probably for drainage from clean these hospital rooms and operating rooms. It’s a mystery when you see certain areas of a bunker that has been burned. Hard to tell if it’s was done during the war or after. Very nice location to explore.
