I like that you are continously adapting to your 40k tabletop scene. Its one thing I try to tell people who are looking for meta units and tournament winning list unless your going to tournametns regularly. Its not so much about those as it is focusing on your local player base, especially if you have a group of friends and loved ones or a club like you have. I always tell people not matter how bad a unit might be in the meta, the current FAQ, or hell even the current edition, every unit is playable to your advantage at some point. I would encourage you to at minimum pick up at least one of each Death Guard/chaos unit you can during this edition. It better prepares you for future FAQ's and new editions, as well as getting more familiar with your army in general so you can have everything at your disposal. Im still doing that now even 10th edition. I may have 8k points of Necrons but I dont have one of every model still and thats my goal for this year before 11th edition
Yeah absolutely! Even in the short amount of time I've been playing 40k, the game has changed so much. I've still got a few more units to pick up to make up the entire Death Guard roster but I'm getting there :) I can't believe you have so many Necrons but still not the whole range. It must be an awesome collection!
@@Rokkis_Gaming_Lounge It was nice seeing a run down of all of your untis. It puts it into perspective how far you've come since your first unit of plague marines. I think mostly you have characters left, and of course all of the nurgle demons and maybe that demon prince?? Im curious though, if you get the nurgle demons would that create a want to try out AoS in the future since both nurgle factions share models between the two game systems? Yeah its crazy because Necrons dont get considered as a horde army but in order to run effective units of warriors and immortals they need to be ran in their max size units of 20 warriors and 10 immortals, not mention both have 2 weapon types. I have 80 warriors and 40 immortals so roughly a fifth of my army is just battleline haha. I still need the rest of the ForgeWorld units, a few centerpeieces, and some dupilcates of other units to max those out. And I still havent gotten the new necrons HQ's from this edition so I still have a ways to go
I think the only ones I'm missing now are the PM reinforcements, that named Blightlord Terminator and squad and a defiler. But there are still so many more to paint haha.
Thank you! Can't go wrong with Brigands, they are so good! I haven't had a chance to try the beasts of Nurgle yet. They are a little bit harder to bring now that you have to bring a battleline unit with each one.
Usually one indirect plagueburst crawlers doesn't do much. I think you need at least two before you start feeling it is making a difference. Another thing you can try is to ask your opponent to play "bring it down" and "assassination" against you and see what happens.
Your plague marines look fantastic. I'm just getting my death guard army a d I'm struggling on getting the green parts of the armour to look at hood as some of the details. What is your secret?!

Thank you! I prime them with black and white spray paints (I think it's called zenithal priming?). Then use militarum green contrast paint :)
