I wasn't sold on those wheels when you did the off-car reveal, but with tyres mounted and bolted to the car they look amazing! Besides the design of the face, which works way better on a VIP platform than I thought it would, you've nailed the size and offset.
I'm loving this build, and extremely jealous! I bought an LS430 in July and am planning pretty much the exact same build with simple, tasteful mods. Love seeing you guys getting to do over a couple of weeks, what I'm expecting will take a lot longer for me! Definitely gives me inspiration and confirms a lot of my choices for the future!

I am pleasantly surprised how the the end result looks! I wasn't sure about the kit and wheels at first but it looks damn good. One of those times where the look is more than the sum of the parts! Great job guys! Making me want one too!

Just put some continental Viking contacts on my cx9 for winter in Manitoba and so for really liking them. Granted we have not got any real crazy winter storms yet but they are performing very well.

You guys should get some left and right cutting offset handle snips they keep your hand up out of the metal. They also cut straight a lot easier than the straight snips. Usually the handles are red and green.

I love the fact that these ls430s came with fixed calipers up front and in back. Plenty of new cars still don't come with those.

...his wheels cost as much as the car... Pretty close to $6k (I'm guessing). I wouldn't be surprised if one-off wheels were $1k (US or CAN) each.
