Your Excellency Bishop Fellay,
I have been trying to understand the SSPX and their role in this moment of salvation history. I have listened and/or read as much information that I can find about Archbishop Lefebvre and the Society of St. Pius X. Admittedly, I am not familiar with all the players, and what I have seen and read on You Tube and on the SSPX website has left me in a quandary.
As I listened yesterday to this sermon, I believe I received the sign that I've been asking God to give me as far as who is telling the truth about the SSPX. I have been studying Luisa Piccarreta and the Gift of the Divine Will for some forty years and there were several references that you made about the Divine Will in this Christmas sermon. Because of my prayers for a sign, those references jumped out at me as my answer; Jesus and His Will and what He taught Luisa, I believe with all my heart to be true.
I had no more than finished listening to your sermon with my sister, Sr. Mary of Joseph, than I was prompted to listen to your talk on December 28, 2012 regarding the society's relationship to Rome: "Bishop Fellay: Summary of Recent Events, SSPX & Rome"

Your Excellency, when it comes to the amount of time that I have put to praying on the subject and asking for a sign, I do not/can not consider this sequence of events to be a mere coincidence especially not after forty years of studying. I think I now have some understanding of how St. Paul felt in Acts chapter 9 when the scales fell from his eyes, and he became filled with the conviction that Jesus was the Christ. I have argued the point for the last several years that the SSPX is the only remaining Remnant of the Council of Trent Church after Vatican II; and the only one that perfectly fits the description of the remnant Church of Ezechiel 9:4. Your explanation in your talk of December 28, 2012, in my mind, cinched the truth of that argument.
If we give prayerful consideration, which I have, to what Pope Leo XIII overheard, Satan challenging God with... "If You will give me enough time and enough power over those who will turn themselves over to me, I will take Your Church away from You"... , events in Rome and in that Novus Ordo Church since Vatican II strongly indicate that Satan is not very far away from having achieved his objective.
You don't have to be a brain surgeon, just look at "Traditionis Custodes" and other Vatican "initiatives" to discern that religious orders like the SSPX are now Satan's prime targets to complete his plan. He has pretty much taken over the Novus Ordo Church, but the Council of Trent Church is still very much alive; and you and I are very much a part of it, and the SSPX is the heart of it leaving them, the SSPX, Satan's prime targets.
As the situation with COVID and vaccines(?), abortion on demand, and same-sex "marriage" indicate, lies and deceptions are still Satan's greatest weapons.
Sr. Mary of Joseph and I will continue our assiduous prayer for the SSPX to take up the banner of Our Lady and Our Lord and lead the Council of Trent Church in the fight for "TRUTH'S VICTORY". As we know, Jesus IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Thank you, Bishop Fellay. You have truly re-presented the true meaning of Christmas and brought the focus back to being grateful for our redemption and the means to have salvation. We have been assaulted from all directions with every attempt to blot out Jesus Christ Our Lord.

You were speaking in French (thank God for subtitles so I could follow what you were saying) about Pope Leo XIII and his Exorcism Prayer and Our Lady of La Salette. "Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Anti-Christ..." Now, almost ten years later, and listening to your Christmas Sermon, your speech is just as crisp and precise today as it was then and your English has gotten even better.
With all that has happened in the Church and in the world, and today the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, the SSPX is so much more essential to Holy Mother Church. Our Lady of La Salette spoke to Melanie about Her special Priests and children who remain hidden (as we are) but will emerge when She calls them for this time of trial.
We pray for the SSPX that they will stand guard as the Watchmen (Ezechiel 33:1~7) who will sound the alarm to the true faithful who are being pursued from all directions by the enemies of God.
Sadly the most insidious presence lies with many who call themselves Catholic.
Please keep the banner of Truth held high.
