Honestly speaking I don’t necessarily think Creekside trumpets were skating I think they were just getting covered by percussion.. mellos are a little questionable though. I saw this on their second day vs macnair high school they had a performance the day after this and sounded much better outside. In the second round that was definitely when will I see you smile again that was very.. very obvious. Song selections play a big part in battles as well

Creekside isn’t really a indoor band we sound better outside but still working on everything we’re a strong band we just have to put more work in

The only song I liked from Creekside was round 2 overall they don’t sound bad but percussion was just too loud ( I was there in person too)

Craigmont mannn their arrangements were there very recognizable songs as well that’s what I also feel like helped them come through with the win. I feel as if the Georgia bands have a better sound quality generally speaking but I think that is due to the culture. Jonesboro and Creekside are both superior rated bands when it comes down to concert band the tone with both of those bands are strong than craigmont. Craigmont did their thing though. I also feel like the band world is going towards the style craigmont is playing. The screaming in mellos, trumpets basically the upper brass it’s just something we all love to see and watch high schools like craigmont produce at this level.
Craigmont is superior rated as well.

Jonesboro had very strong moments and some weaker moments overall great I agree that do I do by Stevie wonder was very random😂 their to-nation at times wasn’t the best.
