    this felt so intimate, like a night at the TSO at Roy Thomson Hall. You have a wonderful voice and way of communicating. I hope filmmakers pickup on your presence and get to enjoy the wonderfulness of you and your knowledge. Break a leg poogie bear.

    I’ve been at said weddings with you and I still loved watching this 😍

      Thanks Liam : ) I enjoy that you enjoyed this video, even though we use basically the same gear. Too bad José cannot join for wedding days, he could hold my bag of cables in a little backpack.

    So helpful! How about for ambient sound live music?

      I think I'll make an updated video on this, a few things have changed but. For live band recording, I typically rely on the shotgun (and a pair of headphones to monitor so I'm no clipping) and then I'll also put a rode or DJI mic recorder on or near their speakers. The bonus-Jonas of these DJI/Rode wireless mic transmitters is that they have little magnets and can be affixed to speaker stands or often speakers themselves. Thanks for watching : )

    How is your face issue going? It's been long since you uploaded a video.

      I have a face issue? Yeah I have nothing to contribute when it comes to this channel for the time being. Check out the podcast I co-host @shooturshotpodcast for the latest.

      @timmuza that burn on your left chic i mean. Is it getting better?

    • @timmuza
      @timmuza  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jiasios It's no a burn, it's a birthmark. If I had a problem with it, I might be offended. I hope you don't go through life commenting on people's appearance. Please be kinder to people, not everyone is okay with themselves.

      @@timmuza if you had a problem with it, you would not show yourself on videos. I thought it was a burn or a skin disease and i worried since i had not seen any new video for a long time. I asked from pure interest in your well being. Sorry if it sounded indiscriminate.

    Rode wireless go 2 is not 32 bit float.

    • @timmuza
      @timmuza  ปีที่แล้ว

      They only transmit in 24-bit. But if you have them record audio simultaneously on broadcast quality mode (as I do) you can export the recordings in 32-bit float using the rode app. Good note.

      @@timmuza - I've not been able to get 32-bit float out of my recordings on the RØDE Wireless Go II, nor have I found that listed anywhere in the specs. I wish it were true though, then I wouldn't have purchased the Zoom F2 recorders (which actually do have 32-bit float).
      Speaking of 32-bit float - definitely check out the ZOOM M3 MicTrak. It's an on-camera mic that records in 32-bit float to a microSD card and also sends a signal to the camera. My favorite feature is that you can adjust it from mono to stereo in post using the ZOOM app. My least favorite thing is that the screw can come loose on the hotshoe assembly, so keep an eye on that before it falls apart. I have two of these mics and am in the process of gluing mine in place (probably with epoxy) so I don't have to worry about the hotshoe screw anymore.
