- No genre, today we're back to the old days of listing vibes and instruments in the title heh.
Look, my favorite track from CD 1! I absolutely adore this original and it's wonderful to have encountered such a gorgeous arrangement of it. I can count the total of its kind I've heard with the fingers of just one hand. An immediate addition to the treasures playlist for sure.
The shirring sound that shows up around the 1-minute mark is so magical to me. I tend to be very sound sensitive so any sharp instruments are often a turn-off, but this one just adds to the atmosphere of the track.
Skima-bit has released only this one album and most of the tracks are more experimental than this one. The little stutter sound near 0:20 is somewhat indicative of the rest of them.

Certainly an interesting track.
All these more experimental approaches to music are really refreshing, and it's always fun to see how different people approach the same music, how they see it, how they choose to interpret it. I feel like that is giving you some sort of glimpse at a person, how they are, inside, even if you don't know them otherwise.

Anybody have any idea how DiPP made it sound like it does at 0:59 ? I'd love to experiment with something like this myself but im not really sure how to get that kinda sound 😭
Not an expert, but to me it sounds like they've taken the same instrument, overlayed it with the melody and pitch shifted it. So there's two slightly different tones over each other. Sounds like it has high tremble. That plus echo.
