Touhou is one of my favorite gaming franchises out there and Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil was my gate way into the fandom.
Though this animation is not much (in fact I would designate this more as an over glorified shit post)
Its the most that I could do to contribute to the 20th anniversary of a game that has had a large impact on my life overall.

I've been playing TF2 for over a decade. In that time, I have obtained the robot version of the Towering Pillar of Hats, along with hundreds of other pieces of headwear. At the rate Remilia is accruing them here, one shudders to think how many she'd accrue if she, an immortal vampire, bent her energies to the game over that same time frame...

I like the detail of Daiyousei being fine right up until Flandre reveals how she got the costume
And then she's fine again once Flandre talks about the bouquet

But also, fairies can't die.
Sure they'll be "out of commission" for a little while, but as long as the aspect of nature that they embody exists (in Cirno's case, cold), they'll revive/regenerate/reform eventually.
Fairies have so little understanding of the concept of death, they'll happily go to sleep in the snow, die during the night, and just wake up as normal come morning.

this skit has the right beats in humor, doesnt make too much references to the source material while keeping the quirkiness of said source material in check, and the animation is clean. i appreciate that the dialogue is written so universally. good job

Sakuya can probably erase memories by rewinding the brain's memory centers in time.
Sakuya can also bring Cirno back to life by rewinding the corpse backwards in time once Flandre takes it off.
@@Ponera-Sama Contrary, rewinding is one of those things Sakuya can't do as efficiently as Time Stop or Time Forward.
I believe the object needs to be broken or in motion for it to be rewind and even then its limited by certain restrictions.
To be fair to Flandre, being able to turn a corpse into a bouquet is very impressive

That was simply beautiful. So much nostalgia from watching Llamas with Hats years ago, and Remilia's voice is just amazing. Also, I love how she gains another hat with every shot she's in, lmaoo.
To be fair after being lock up for as long as she's been, its a miracle she's capable of speech let alone having a basic understanding of morality.

The reason she ended up the way she did is the lack of socialization and being so used to being in her room she started liking being there, kind of like if you stay for enough years with your kidnapper you'll start to like it.

This is great! I had to take a second to recover after I heard Remilia’s british voice, though.. Keep up the good work, your animations are splendid.
As a fun fact, originally the voices for the animation were going to sound more atone to the original llamas with hats. I decided to give Remilia a funny British voice instead cause she's more of a regal lady.

I love what you did here, so many details in the animation and the background. The expressions, and how good the VA is. I love it.
The only thing I think is missing is the classic explosion of the SDM in the end.

This is so well made, kept rewatching and giggling until I paid more attention to the background than to the vampire sisters. There's so many small details - I appreciate Koishi popping up out of no where and going all hearthrobbing adventure at 1:21 and no one bats an eye
