Well, I find it very odd. I think that something with the language must have happened, because he couldn't possibly be a nicer person and I 'm sure he didn't mean to offend the interviewer.
Jonas Kaufmann ???!!! FANTASTIC TENOR !!! FANTASTIC ACTOR !!! Of course and very beautiful man !!! BRAVO Dear Jonas !!! Dear Jonas, Dear Malena - Dear journalist, BIG, BIG, BIG THANKS for the interesting interview !!! All we - all Jonas"s fans love Jonas endless !!! God bless the fantastic tenor Jonas Kaufmann for very, very, very the beautiful emotions for us - the fans in all world !!! Always with a lot of love and light N.Mirkova and friends, and all my big family from Sofia - Bulgaria
Dark and light. Very good description. I first heard Kaufmann in Traviata, and I thought, “What? He’s a baritone!” But in the next minutes, he had no problem at all in the higher register, no problem with high notes. Every region of the voice sounded beautiful.
Eres otello!!!
She's just a snotty pain in the ass. It's as if she just wants to ask bitchy questions and didn't need to. He handled her just right. No room for silliness, he's an excellent tenor and knows his stuff.
She is very annoying to listen to. She was going to interview Jonas Kaufmann but speak the whole time about herself, interrupting him and come back to herself. She is like a nervous teen-ager.
This doesn't make any sense sorry. And it speaks volume about your ignorance of the opera context 40 years ago. BTW who are these ''so called legends who wouldn't stand a chance today''? Do you have at least the courage to be specific?
A minority opinion. Kaufmann's voice is naturally dark, throaty and ingulato. Any lightness he exhibits is manufactured in falsetto which annoys me to no end. His technique is unfinished. To compare him to Bojrling, Corelli, del Monaco, Bergonzi, even Domingo, Carreras or Pavarotti is a real stretch in my opinion.
- "Did you listen to Bjorling? Stupid question, haha..."
- "Yeah, this is really stupid".
Best beginning for an interview, ever.
Lol haha "yeah definitely stupid question"

I think she finds him quite attractive.
he is attractive
Who wouldn't?
Samuel Karlberg, any relation to Sanford Rothenberg? You sound remarkably alike. The greatest tenor ever is still alive and kicking butt. =P
@TheGina1420
Jonas is tired, Malena trying to keep the ball rolling; that's all:)
Jonas natural, speaking his mind, Malena... forget it!

Just one squibble, SHICOFF1. No accent? He speaks english very well, but I definitely hear a german accent. Only natural.
It's nice, to hear that.
@TheGina1420
Hello! nice to have kidding people around! Even frosty winter is more bearable with them!
Greetings!
She asks a question and then starts talking while he’s talking. She’s a dope
He is sweet !

Hahha what kind of interview is this?
She is very annoying to listen to. She was going to interview Jonas Kaufmann but speak the whole time about herself, interrupting him and come back to herself. She is like a nervous teen-ager.
she seems to be a little strange, a liitle autistic, here I can see from where her daughter Greta has it. but she is a great singer.
Hu, I normally find Jonas Kaufmann very sympathetic in interviews, but this time he really comes across as someone who likes to hear himself talk.
Now i know he darkens his voice, he talks with a light voice and sings with an incredibly dark voice for his talkingt, he overdarkens his voice
Angelo, Corelli and Del Monaco’s voices were much darker than their speaking voices. He doesn’t over darken his singing voice
"a little"? lol
Very arrogant and smug. He will not get away with that mentality and rudeness.
+FaithTheFiercest
He was extremely rude to the woman, I had already realized that he is so in interviews.
@@eternalmourning9613 He's not at all rude in this interview!
+Art Danks
He is!
Are you a woman at menopause?
He speaks better english, than he can sing!
Frank Mylius yeeeeessss his voice is crazy hi is bariton
