      What's so odd about Noah passing out naked and drunk? This is after dealing with all of the animals in close proximity for at least one year while dealing with the grumblings of his family. I'd do the same thing if I were him.
      The first son made a mistake because when he discovered his father passed out, instead of covering his nakedness and shame on his own, he decided to tell his brothers about it further bringing embarrassment to his father. The other brothers have done the honorable thing for their father hence why the first son who discovered Noah was cursed.

    I am a new Christian.
    I am 15 years old.

    I have accepted Jesus Christ about 2 weeks ago.
    I have been capable of getting a kjv from play store.

      Cody Christian I had just completed reading genesis and exodus and Leviticus and understanding them was very easy.
      what should I do next?
      should I continue to reading the old testament or the new?

    • @cchristianb
      @cchristianb 7 ปีที่แล้ว +97

      +XCOM initiative that's amazing keep it up! Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Job are really worth checking out in the Old Testament for wisdom like this series suggests. But I think it could be beneficial to read Matthew, Mark or John to understand who Jesus really is and the sacrifice he made for humanity and the incredible miracles he performed. You'll learn how fair and just he really was. He came to earth to save everyone and make all people new in him.I think it would be breath of fresh air for you and very relatable. Personally, I read the New Testament first and then moved onto the Old Testament when I wanted to learn more about God, but as a Christian I think it's important to really know who Jesus is. It will help tremendously with life and in prayer especially!

      I imagine this will be a scary time for you since being caught by your parents or society could have very bad consequences... However be courageous! "I have spoken these things to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world" - John 16:33. Words from Jesus to encourage in difficult times. I also encourage you to read the Psalms as they were written by King David as he was surrounded by enemies. I will personally pray for you as well!

    I am committed to reading the Holy Bible in full this summer - at age 57. I will finally start to dedicate my life and discipline myself to actually READING what I should have done long ago. Thank you for simplifying this journey with key points and wrap up for each chapter. I’m learning in life I can’t do “this” on my own any longer and I am giving myself over to Jesus to guide me in the right direction.

      I would imagine that the grief would be excruciating, to watch your children continually destroy themselves, especially when you know what they have the potential to become. That is why people are reconciled with God, the Father, through Christ, the Son. Christ is the archetype for what we are supposed to become. When we are "born again" we become a "child of God" once more.

      Jesus was either God and He knew it so we should believe Him as He said He is the Truth the Life, and He said He is the Only Way to the Father. We should believe it and accept His merciful redemption thru His Cross & bow our hearts to His singular authority. If this is NOT true then, He was not God, He knew it and was a liar. If He was not God and did not know it. He was a crazy lunatic. Truly God, liar or lunatic so choose which you will believe & serve. Sheva & Jesus cannot both be true. Hebrews 9 says it is appointed to man once to die and then judgement. If that is true, then reincarnation must be false. I am putting all my trust on Jesus, and not too far in the future I will die and be will Him in a beautiful place with a new eternal body. I urge you, my brother through Adam, to think about this very important issue.

      It may be true sometimes. But,
      1: Music alone is not Defined itself (good or bad. Devil or God). What the music is used for or for whom, depends on who YOU want to make it/sing it for. A beautiful Orchestra with a bunch of Harps could easley be used for a "Devils music" song.
      2: Who cares what things are "usually called". All that matters is, what the Bible tells us, not people. (Giving the case you believe in the bible ;))
      But I guess these points are not new to you. ;)
      Just wanted to make clear why I asked.
      I find this Video also nice!

    After reading a few comments people are arguing over the genuineness of Bible Project. Well... If any man confesses Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Holy Son of God. And Believes in his heart that he died for the sins of the entire world and believes in the doctrine of the Holy Apostles of Christ from Mathew to Revelation. I can trust them. And Bible Project has done all of that. They are not against St Paul, St Peter, St John, St James, St Jude. Bible Project do your thing, I feel you. Much love from West Africa 💞💗💓!

      sr bryan If never seen a fullfiled prophety from the bible. Every single one fullfiled ether INSIDE the bible (like almost all prophetys in all books, a bible prophety fullfiled in the bible is as good as a prophety fullfilled inside lord of the rings) or it did not.
      Since 2000 years the second commings is near, but it never came.

    • @sbryan060
      @sbryan060 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would encourage you to study Isaiah 7 & 8 and compare that with Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. Many Bible scholars suggest there are more than 300 prophetic Scriptures completed in the life of Jesus. Circumstances such as his birthplace, lineage, and method of execution were beyond his control and could not have been accidentally or deliberately fulfilled.
      In the book Science Speaks, Peter Stoner and Robert Newman discuss the statistical improbability of one man, whether accidentally or deliberately, fulfilling just eight of the prophecies Jesus fulfilled.
      The chance of this happening, they say, is 1 in 1017 power. Stoner gives an illustration that helps visualize the magnitude of such odds:
      Suppose that we take 1017 silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up one silver dollar and say that this is the right one. What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man, from their day to the present time, providing they wrote using their own wisdom.
      The mathematical improbability of 300, or 44, or even just eight fulfilled prophesies of Jesus stands as evidence to his messiahship.
      Remember, belief, no matter how passionate, does not = truth. Objective reasoning and a humble attitude will help on the journey, if TRUTH, is in fact the motive. I find that most people (religious or not) tend to side with whatever suits their lifestyle even when reason is slapping them in the face.

    • @rzu1474
      @rzu1474 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sr bryan Your making 2 mistakes.
      1: You assume that the prophetys in the bible are real and not made up, of wich we cant be sure. They very well yould be false.
      2: even if all the prophetys are real, the writers of the bible (we dont even know how they are, find a luke or marcus in the midle east) knew of them.
      It would have been easy for them to just let there jesus fullfill those old prophethys.
      Furthermore it is realy easy to fullfill ürophetys in the past, with that i mean that the gosples were written atleast One generation after jesus.
      And lastly we see that the bible storys grow from gosple to gosple as time passes, the gosples contradict each other constantly.

    I like these videos but I think you guys should incorporate more scriptural references in the videos or indicate when you are putting in your own opinions. For example, Adam and Eve didn't hide from each other but rather from God! "Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden." This way you understand what the text truly means, including hidden secrets lost in translation. Take for example one of our videos- the topic is the origin of the word “Hallelujah”

Really, I know from personal experience that knowing ancient or old no languages is NOT REQUIRED to read the Bible, nor to completely understand it. Will it help? Yes, absolutely. Will it solve all of your problems, absolutely not! ... If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. - 1st Corinthians 13:1.
