I love all of these projects. The little wooden pumpkins are my favorite. So cute. I haven't found Waverly Antique wax anywhere near me. My sister send me some from a Walmart in Rochester NY. Now I buy two of each so I won't run out too fast 😍❤️
Someone told me they had a Covid breakout in their factory, and had to close down because of it, because it's still spreading from employee to employee. Their wax is greatly missed!

Holly they are all, as usual, ADORABLE and so creative. I can't even pick a favorite. The scarecrow was so cute! It will look great leaning on my front porch with my pumpkins. I'm excited to make it. When I use the plastic cutting boards from DT I I sand them lightly before I use paint or stain. By doing that I rough up the surface enough that it eliminates that slippery finish. Things adhere so much better. Your graphic is great! Another project I will be making. I have never heard that saying, so you may have an "invention?" . I always learn something new......like today it was using the sharp object to make the stem look more realistic. Thank you!
Hi sweet Beth. For the water-based acrylic stain that I used, the surface needs to be shiny and slippery for it to perform optimally. Otherwise it’s like painting on sandpaper, so I definitely don’t want to rough it up anymore, lol. However thanks for the tip if I decide painting it first is still a good route to take. Here in Canada, we have flattened the curve and so we're returning to school Sept 8th ( well the kuds are we're going in the 3rd and 4th for orientation for the, " new norm " challenges masks, social distancing etc ) we know there will be a second wave but the school boards across Canada have implemented an entire system at the first case besides putting new air systems in all schools, etc some of my children are non verbal so it will be a trial and error sort of situation. Wish me luck and send prayers please.xo

My daughter is finding out the gender of my 3rd grandchild today ( but i already know :) and i was wanting to make something like your last DiY that says Gigis pumpkin patch and have the kids names on 2 pumpkins and then "baby boy/girl and their last name on the 3rd pumpkin. Wow Holly I love all of these as always I love everything you make and I am sitting here wrapping a wreath form with sisal rope and a mop and trying to come up with my own thing and you are making these little mini pumpkins and I stop what I’m doing and I make them because I have my Jenga blocks right in front of me and then I’m gonna pull up my wine corks because they’re right next to me as I just made my little acorns out of the coconuts and I love them so you are inspiring all of my crafts this year I love watching you I love how peaceful you make me feel when I’m crafting and explain everything in such detail that I know I can do it you’re awesome🤗 I’m going to try to post some things on Pinterest but I may need a little help walking through it I found the board where everyone shares their crafts and I think that’s great but I’m not sure how to post on there cause I’ve never done that so hopefully you can help me over there thanks again so much and looking forward to the next video❤️🧡🍁🍂🎃☀️

Yes, I had to paint more brown paint at the bottom to make it work. At first I was just going to try and dry brush it to get it to look that way, and then I realized I needed to do something different because it didn’t look good enough.
I can’t find the Waverly Wax ( or the white chalk paint) in my Walmart either but I saw you use something in that “folk art Home Decor” brand which I think you said you purchased from Home Depot. When I first started out doing painting furniture and then doing crafting I brought some Antique Wax (plaid) in that brand (I think from Amazon). It works just the same. It’s a good brown antique wax if you wanted to try that and still can’t find any from Wavery. I really love watching your videos. Thanks. Hope this tip helps.

I bought a whole assortment of washable paint for $6 at Ross, and my daughter laughed at me, but it probably has 20 colors in it and I knew it would be thin enough, to look more like a stain. I am also going to mix it with white acrylic, if I want a thicker paint. That should work, just don't add a whole lot, you will turn it into a pastel color.

Just click on the icon that says load full resolution. You should see a spinning wheel, and then it won't print up blurry for you. I think the site does that to control their storage space. Thanks for watching.

@@HotHumblePie Hi Holly yes I am. I work with special needs children here in Cape Breton, NS. Here in Canada, we have flattened the curve and so we're returning to school Sept 8th ( well the kuds are we're going in the 3rd and 4th for orientation for the, " new norm " challenges masks, social distancing etc ) we know there will be a second wave but the school boards across Canada have implemented an entire system at the first case besides putting new air systems in all schools, etc some of my children are non verbal so it will be a trial and error sort of situation. Wish me luck and send prayers please.xo

Wow Holly I love all of these as always I love everything you make and I am sitting here wrapping a wreath form with sisal rope and a mop and trying to come up with my own thing and you are making these little mini pumpkins and I stop what I’m doing and I make them because I have my Jenga blocks right in front of me and then I’m gonna pull up my wine corks because they’re right next to me as I just made my little acorns out of the coconuts and I love them so you are inspiring all of my crafts this year I love watching you I love how peaceful you make me feel when I’m crafting and explain everything in such detail that I know I can do it you’re awesome🤗

Yes, I had to paint more brown paint at the bottom to make it work. At first I was just going to try and dry brush it to get it to look that way, and then I realized I needed to do something different because it didn’t look good enough.
I can’t find the Waverly Wax ( or the white chalk paint) in my Walmart either but I saw you use something in that “folk art Home Decor” brand which I think you said you purchased from Home Depot. When I first started out doing painting furniture and then doing crafting I brought some Antique Wax (plaid) in that brand (I think from Amazon). It works just the same. It’s a good brown antique wax if you wanted to try that and still can’t find any from Wavery. I really love watching your videos. Thanks. Hope this tip helps.

I bought a whole assortment of washable paint for $6 at Ross, and my daughter laughed at me, but it probably has 20 colors in it and I knew it would be thin enough, to look more like a stain. I am also going to mix it with white acrylic, if I want a thicker paint. That should work, just don't add a whole lot, you will turn it into a pastel color.
The black "welcome" looked better. I think those metal signs just look cheap, they need something.

Hi Holly. I am stumped maybe this is simple but I don't knoww how to do it. On your free printable falling leaves ? When I open it to print it says load full resolution 5 MB can you please explain this and how I do what it says to get the right size picture. Thank you
Just click on the icon that says load full resolution. You should see a spinning wheel, and then it won't print up blurry for you. I think the site does that to control their storage space. Thanks for watching.
