    Thanks for this tutorial. It was interesting to watch even though I'm not into machine embroidery and am not planning to go in that direction, being a quilter, but I love janome machines and enjoy watching any tutorials about different machines, I have a MC8200qcp btw and LOVE IT!

      Kathy, Have you thought about an embroidery machine to do the quilting though? I'm planning to start a quilt in the next few months and will do the quilting on my 500E. The quilt (well, the plan in my head just now) will have some ruler quilting and then more intricate quilting on the 500E.

    Not trying to be pedantic, just wanting to help anyone planning to buy this machine, it doesn't come with all the hoops in some countries, only the RE28b (20 x 28cm) and SQ20b (20 x 20cm) are supplied as standard. You have to purchase other sizes as optional accessories, RE20b (14 x 20cm), SQ14b (14 x 14cm)and RE10b (10 x 4cm). Actually my favourite hoop is the small RE10b, perfect for collar, cuffs and pockets etc.

      Hello Anna, Thank you for the reminder to visit your local Janome Dealer to find out which accessories are standard for the country you are residing!

    I have just bought the 500E.yesterday was my first day on her. I am having some issues with metallic thread breaking during stitch out. I am using a thread holder so it comes off straight. I am using the slowest speed and have reduced the tension. Do I change how to thread through the top thread guides. I am using Sulky thread.

      Use a size 12 topstitching needle. The hole is larger.

    Hi Alba! I hope you see this message and can help me. I very recently received my 500e and was very excited to use it. However, I can not transfer my files and open them. I’m transferring from a Mac using embrilliance essentials to my 500e. Any help offered will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

    Do you help people figure out stitching issues? I am trying g to figure out how to go back over a design that did not fill in properly. It looks terrible and happens often enough I need to k ow how to fix it.

    • @JanomeJAI
      @JanomeJAI  ปีที่แล้ว

      Janet was it a built-in design, one that your purchased, or one that you digitized yourself? We recommend testing out a built-in design first to see if the issue is your design or the machine. If that is fine, if it is a design you digitized you can definitely increase stitch density in most digitizing programs.

    Hello. I own this machine.my first embroidery machine srated sewing back in the late 50’s. Your demo is almost good. 1st. I don’t see hoops on wall. 2. I don’t care about other /janome embroidery machines, i expect differences you stated 4x in things are different ie. Arms or things that arethe same.. What does that matter?. 3. You push buttons casually and don’t tell us what you’re pushing, no help. Finally, the camera work is mediocre. Thank you for not standing in the way. ( Obviously you are familiar with Janome machines. )Like adjust speeds …you don’t give us the steps. No, I can’t see the fonts. Wow.please efit for clarity. Mean in good spirit all OMHHHO.
