Kate's accusation about OP forcing himself on her was despicable. Apart from the obvious repercussions against his character and job, she could make it harder for women in real life abuse situations to be believed!
Not only that... but also why so many men have issues with relationships, as it is very hard to prove a negative... especially since rarely do those who use the accusation for revenge rarely are held accountable for their own actions, and how just the accusation can ruin the male forever.
I think the reason I like these stories is that I would never know what to do in such a situation, so it's good to know that folks in the world do know how to protect themselves.

The last story. They would have been better off talking about his behaviour after he got back from his stint at training. That is what caused things to go sour. It would have cleared the air and could have gone to improving his anxiety and the relationship could have improved. But shit happens. Water under the bridge. Quite frankly, I would have packed and walked out that night just for that. I was the one who had that happen to me so my judgement might be colored by that experience. And he tried to screw up my life as well. I was the "good ex" who never fought him, made sure his daughter got to see him (didn't even get child support, we made more money than he did) and never said anything bad about him. But he was going around town to everyone we knew, burying a knife in my reputation. So yeah, OP was in the right to me. Just my opinion, others may differ.

Op's wife should let her former co-workers know so they can protect themselves and warn future employees. Unless that office manager was fired, which op in this story didn't elude to.
