Hi, you cut and edited the video right when you were going to enter the page URL into the test section - why did you skip that part? This is the part that is throwing the pixel error saying it’s not found despite the pixel being in both shopify (active) and visible in this section of Meta Event activity.
I followed step by step, and its working , thank you.

In the tab where it says “ connect Facebook account “ instead of showing “business assets “ it shows “ business account “ and when I try press on data sharing it doesn’t do anything when I press it . Please help quick

Can one first set up the business manager and create the Meta Pixel there and later connect the sales channel app and instead of creating a new pixel just connect the one that was just created in the Business Manager? Any harm in doing it this way?

Yes at times, it might mean you have the pixel installed twice. Try removing any apps that you may have connected your Facebook account to that adds another pixel

No you can't, you will need to create it again
Hi if facebook bans our ad account for any reason.......can we install multiple pixels for same shopify store so that we can use the second pixel in the event of ban of the first one?

because I did a pixel on a business fb business page that's not the one connected to the business, although at the bottom the page that it says that Is linked is the business one

My purchase event is firing post purchase when a customer checks the order page. Is there a way to stop this from firing? It is very difficult to track actual purchases and measure my FB ads.
For tracking actual purchase checkout & other events you have to set up your pixel through Google Tag manager. And must setup conversion api (server-side-tracking) dynamically to optimize your ads performance. Thanks.
Hi Brendan thanks for the guide but my facebook pixel couldnt receive data from phone how do i fix this issue?
due to ios 14 update maximum of your user data won't transfer to pixel properly. That's why you need to set up a Conversion api dynamically & enable datalayer . Then you will get all the data in your pixel.
i can't seem to get this to work. i set up the pixel etc. and it seems to be connected fine when I check it in the business suite. but then when I go to create an ad and select the profile I want to adverstise as, it assigns another pixel that doesnt' seem to exist anywhere else. not in shopify. not in my facebook business manager. and there's no way to change it
It could be you are connected to the wrong Facebook account

Hello, on the Data Sharing pixel, it had Instagram pixel instead of the store pixel and I clicked that. How can I change that to store pixel, because it's now caused a whole nother set of issues on my FB Store? When I click create a new only the Instagram one comes up? If one chooses the Maximum preference, how should that be reflected in your privacy policy.
You will need to look into your local privacy laws to determine that! Best practice is yes though 😉

It's not appearing when i'm creating an ad at the "ad set" part, it only selects an old pixel that I had , this new one is not visible ? How can this be fixed?
go to dataset > select new pixel> add yourself as a manager> connect ad account with the pixel>done
