In this video we visit the capital city of Gifu Prefecture, which is also called Gifu (岐阜市). Gifu is located on the main island of Japan, Honshu Island.
In years past, I spent a good deal of time in Gifu - nearly 4 years to be exact. Naturally I have a lot of memories from this city but the unfortunate part is that I no longer have any of the videos from my time there. Many of my memories from Gifu were really starting to fade. Going back there after nearly 8 years away was quite an experience!
In this video we eat some tasty Japanese foods, we hike up a mountain, we catch a peek of the Nagara River (長良川), we walk through common Japanese neighborhoods and see how people live, we visit a couple of shrines, and much, much more.

But also still a nice city center with some places to have some fun and get a little crazy on a Friday night!
