I’m trying to write my first ever book but I always open my laptop and my mind goes blank, watching your videos motivate me to carry on and don’t give up ❤️
This is old, but try spending a minute just thinking of the scene your about to write. I started doing that at it work great. I think "what do I want to happen in this scene?" And work towards that
12 hours definitely feels like the more doable writing marathon length vs 24 hours-and I love the format of writing some, and then doing other things in the hour (rather than just attempting to do nothing but write). of the writing challenges I've seen I think this was one of the healthier-seeming versions. thanks for sharing!
Never done a 12 hour write a thon but when I have nothing else to do and I start writing I will write for 8 hours straight with 20ish minute breaks in between and get like 3-4K words in.

Flora is the free version of Forrest for anyone who was a bit sad like I was when I realized Forrest cost money. But if I’m honest I like flora more! Not only is it free but the 3dness of Forrest is kinda ugly to me😭 Instead of buying new things to plant (I think that’s how Forrest works) you unlock new ones from different countries. You literally go on a world tour. I got over 30 hours of writing with it on there so far😅
This is such a good idea, I'm totally doing this today bc I also have to finish a project before Nano! hopefully I can do it 🤣🤣 (Also i am so excited for fall too, literally all my best outfits are for fall! 🍁)
Your videos are my go to for getting motive to write my stories or I would listen to your videos while planning out my stories. You are the only author tuber I watch and loving your videos

I read and watched the great gaspy in high school very good, I would recommend it to. Also if you haven’t you all should read/ watch the outsiders and of mice and men and where the red firm grows. Some good classics.
the outsiders was a book i had to read in high school and i loved it! haven't heard of 'of mice and men' or 'where the red firm' grows but i'll definitely check those out! thank you so much!!

hii vee, i randomly found your channel and watch your videos to get motivation to write my book! i'm 14 and i've never finished a book before (not a novel, i write on wattpad) do you have any advice on how to not lose motivation quickly and to better my writing??
hi marie🤗 i’ve been there!! the way i find motivation to write when i sometimes lose it is to set writing goals!! whether that’s finishing a novel by a certain time or writing a set number of words a day!
You have such fun energy in all of your videos! I'm now inspired to try a 12 hour writeathon...but jury's out on whether I'll even be able to stay up for 12 hours never mind write for that long LOL Thank you so much for this!

Start early. Start training earlier. I find that it takes a while to wind down afterwards.
