Looks good and legit for me (even procedure is not completely right) But ... How long "WD40" last after apply it? I reccomend you some good UV spray or even some ceramic coat. But Ill try your solution, propperly done. Ill share how long WD40 last (I bet you only few days with luck)
Just hate it when people have all the right tools for a job but not the skill to use it correctly... You used more polish/compound on the headlight than what i use on a whole bonnet... Big ups for trying though. 🤦♂️
Thank you for your comment. I never stated I am a polisher and others who would try to follow my instructions also won’t be polisher. Everyone has to use their intuition how much polish will they use. This video is an amateur instruction to encourage other amateurs if they feel courage in their self to try.
Just never do like him. U missed many important things. First open bonnet and save tape also get. good asses. Use water all the time while using sand paper. Start from at least grade 1500 going up to 2500-3000. Use 96° spirit to clean lenses from fat before using polishing paste. Finally do not show rubbish to others.

I wanted to show a domestic, cheaper solution . I know there are professional solutions with professional products
What does the wd40 do. I used meguiar's plast-rx with a drill operated wool buff pad and I had good result.
WD40 at the end gives a thin silicone layer and protect the surface.

When it seems faded, the uv rays ate the top layer, with G3 wax you will remove this layer.
