We resuced another Anstaff 9 years ago following the death of our beloved Tina. Rescue another Greyhound and give her all the love you can remembering that she will never replace Miss Nancy, but in time will become just as dear to you
Thank you, I think you might be right and I will try to love it even more, I’m worried about wishing they were Miss Nancy but I know any dog would be just as special in their own right in time 🥰
@@missnancysdayoffEach dog has their own quirks and personality but what they all have in common is their bond with their human, their ability to give love and their joy at living in the here and now. Your memories of Nancy won't change or fade and a new dog won't take her place in your heart. It'll just find its own place there and snuggle right into it. That's what dogs do.
Losing a best friend is so desperately sad. I feel your pain. Take comfort in knowing that she loved every moment you had with her. You gave her the best possible life a dog could wish for. Xx
People say “they’re just pets”, but they’re more, so much more than that; I had a golden Labrador many years ago and still think of her when I go out walking somewhere new, but now with fond memories.
Don't apologise for tears. With great love comes great grief and crying is normal and helpful. I think that every one of your followers just wants to give you a hug. Unfortunately there's no fast forward button through the grieving process. We just have to continue our journey as best we can and getting out into nature and keeping active are both helpful on that path. This video had some beautiful shots of nature in it and some wise words from you. I hope that you manage to feel a little better each day
We suddenly lost our beloved dog on Friday. To say we are devastated is an understatement. I have never seen my husband cry so much. They leave a huge gap in our lives. Big hugs from Scotland xx
I am so sorry, it’s the worst thing that has happened to me I Know how you feel. I felt like I had a huge hole in my chest for weeks. I hope you are finding a way through this most terrible timexxx
Tori❤ I am sorry, angel. I lost track of it all due to illness. I just saw your notification with the news! Oh, this is painful for us who love her, so deeply. We love you and we want for you to continue sharing beautiful memories of her, when going out on these beautiful nature stories. Blessings❤
I hope that you are ok now? It’s so beautiful having so many people who care about her, even though it makes me cry it’s such a wonderful thing, thank you ❤️
Hi, I am deeply sorry for the loss of Miss Nancy. Losing a grey is really difficult... they are so 'human'. There are other sighthounds that need help, and would love the life you gave Miss Nancy; I would recommend you get a couple more. You won't regret it... and it'll definitely get you out of the house. Miss Nancy would be proud that her company, attention and adventurous time with you encouraged you to help her breed. I hope you feel happy and grateful soon xxx.
Thank you ☺️ they really are, she truly was a member of the family and I am not the only one suffering at the moment. I think you are right, Miss Nancy definitely wants me to help as ,many greyhounds as possible, they are all her brothers and sisters and that’s why she wanted to become a TH-cam star so more people could see how wonderful they are⭐️🥰 It’s very tempting to try and get one right now I just know what a serious commitment it is so I don’t want to rush it xxx
I'm not sure I can watch this all the way thru.. I've got two greyhounds; one is getting to be really quite senior and I am living with anticipatory grief these days. They are an incredibly special breed. No dog will ever replace Miss Nancy but there are so many lovely greyhounds out there crying out for a loving home and a hooman to call their own. When you're ready, honour the memory of Miss Nancy and open your heart to another grey.
they are so special ❤️ I’m so glad you have two yourself. you are right their are so many and every little face makes me think of her I wish I could save them all, thank you 🙏
I think our life is basically a book. Full of different chapters. Miss Nancy occupied one of your chapters. All chapters come to an end and it is now time for you to begin a new chapter in whatever shape or form that takes. Miss Nancy will never be forgotten. She will always be there in your life book and you can always go back to that chapter when you feel the need. The pain you feel is real, the loss you feel is real. We can see and feel that in your videos. Remember you're not alone. You have 5.02k people who care enough to hear your story. Chin up. Times a great healer. God bless.😉🙏🙏🙏
That is exactly what I said to my wife, after our dog took his final trip to the vet after 17 years of loyal presence in our family. 15 years on, I still think of him often, especially when out on the kind of walks that he would have loved. He was a significant chapter in our lives, but like all chapters it must eventually come to an end.
This one was a really nice video to watch. Whilst you're clearly still in mourning, you do seem quite a bit better during your walk, so taking your own advice to get outside has definitely helped you. You're doing great. One day you'll reach the point we all do which is the moment you decide it's time to rescue another. In the meantime you could combine your love of greyhounds and your own idea of volunteering and either do something to raise money for a greyhound rescue charity or just volunteer at an actual resuce centre. It's difficult seeing how many animals have previously been hurt or abandoned by people at those places but it's surely rewarding for someone like you to help them in some way. Maybe in the future you could even do a limited run of greyhound themed jewellery, make a video about it for us and then donate the proceeds of those to whichever rescue centre you got Miss Nancy from.
I am glad you liked it ☺️ Honestly my mood really did start to change and improve throughout the walk it was the first step in starting to feel better I think, and I am making sure I keep getting out. I think these are great ideas and I have been thinking about it and how to make it happen. It is tough as well because a lot of these dogs have been so badly mistreated that I think not everyone can deal with actually seeing it and I have a huge amount of respect for everybody who works rescuing animals. If I thought I could find the courage myself I’d love to have a rescue one day, truthfully I don’t know if I could stand it. I would love to try and raise money for these charities and spend some time working with the dogs so I will see how I can make it happen 🙏
I’m so sorry. We have just lost our greyhound a couple if weeks ago. It was sudden, distressing and unexpected, a seizure aged just 7. We are broken, he is everywhere but at the same time he has gone. I still catch myself opening the fridge and thinking he will come trotting in, or saving bacon rind for him before the reality hits again. I think because greys are so gentle yet vulnerable in a way and work their way into our hearts by always being there the loss is palpable and on a level so profound it is hard to process. We have stopped walking and our wellbeing generally has taken a hit from not having our big lad there for cuddles and conversations albeit the latter were a bit one sided if I’m being honest :). What you and us are going through now is a process. It has different durations, highs and lows for all of us but it is a human response to loss. If one day you choose to open your heart and home to another hound or any dog, please know that you will never replace what has passed but neither is it disloyal. I say this because the dog we just lost came into our lives as a rescue after our previous dog died. We thought he would be a pale imitation but he was not - he was his own dog and then some. He got us through lockdown, he healed our grief and stole our hearts and settee. We were back to walking and our physical and mental health returned. The thing with greys is there is always another that has been rescued from a very uncertain future and so desperately needs a home. Sorry for the long comment, this hit because we are going through the same pain just now and it is tough. Sending you blessings and love, the Baxter family xx 14:02
thank you so much for sharing this, I am so sorry about your beautiful greyhound. i feel you exactly. Miss Nancy was my shadow from day one, to the point of exasperation at times, and it’s the greatest shock to be alone again. it’s hard to talk about. I’m so glad that he brought you joy again after loosing your first dog and got you through so much. you are so right about all the other greyhounds needing homes. I hope another dog will come and heal your hearts again in time, and mine too xxx
Chin up Tori I am sure Miss Nancy wouldn’t won’t you to be sad , remember the good times together and that you gave her a fantastic life . RIP Miss Nancy ❤❤
I've just found out the terrible news. Nancy will be missed. As an animal lover it's hard to lose not just a pet but what also feels like a family member. I had two cats that I loved dearly that are no longer here. I will always miss them.
it’s true. Cats are wonderful too, we have had four in our family and I miss them too, all the animals have their own personalities and ways it’s impossible not to love them.
I lost my first dog 7yrs ago to cancer and thought I would never stop grieving. Take each hour as it comes. Last Nov another dog came into my life and I was determined to never go through that again. He's a, smaller version of my old dog. So like him. His owner passed from cancer so I adopted him. Unfortunately there is no way round the grief. Eventually there'll come a day when you'll remember and smile and laugh instead of cry. Take care 🫂
I'm so sorry for your loss. Its a pain like no other. However, she would be so proud of you and the content you create. She would want you to be smiling and living your life
AH Man!! What can I say. I kn ow I said a lot already but I can't stop worrying about you. I mean; you've opened your heart... and captured mine. Now that is a song title. Definitely watch this space lovely. Be well, happy(er!) and safe. Love ya. Wolfie.
I’m so tremendously sorry for your loss. Nancy’s years with you will have undoubtedly been the best of her life. We lost our young rescue cat Finn unexpectedly last year and it was honestly one of the worst things. It’s obviously far too soon to consider, but in time (if it’s the right thing for you) maybe you could consider improving another furry companion’s life. When the time was right for us we gave another little rescue kitten his home (and then fostered another). I’d worried at first that I was just trying to replace Finn but I came to realise that these little fur balls are having better lives for coming to us and that seems to be the best way we could honour him. Much love to you and the hugely missed Nancy. Thanks for the hours spent with both of you on here.
Thank you 🙏 I think they’ve been the best years of my life too. I am so sorry about Finn. I have only ever had cats before Miss Nancy and I love them, it hurt so much when each of them died. I think you are right that it does honour them to rescue another animal that need a home, I hope I will do that when the time is right 🥰
So sorry for your loss. When we lost our boy Cecil last year it was the hardest thing ever, but we were approached a few weeks later by our local RGT sanctuary to meet a very special dog. After visiting Brian (that's right, he's called Brian) weekly for two months to gain his trust, we brought home this absolute unit of a dog who we knew was going to change our lives again. Seeing him become a happy, healthy and confident dog has brought us so much joy. We'll never forget our boy Cecil, but I know he'd be proud that we are helping another hound. You'll never forget the memories of Miss Nancy, but you can build new ones with another quirky bag of elbows too! All the best and keep thinking of the good times :-)
This is such a beautiful story. I am so sorry you lost Cecil, to be able to then devote yourselves to helping Brian (❤️) is almost the happiest ending, just keeping that love and kindness going. Brian is a lucky dog, I absolutely agree that Cecil would be happy! All those sweet lovely bags of elbows deserving a home 🥰 🙏
I’m so sorry to hear about your dear sweat girl. Your time together should have been longer. I know I will be facing that same loss in the not so distant future. I will take courage from your bravery in continuing to push yourself forward on the path that we must one day all tread. Nancy would be proud of her mum continuing to go out into world with curiosity and a gentle heart!
Aww so sad, sending you many hugs x. The loss of a dog (or anyone) can feel so painful inside. When our dog Charlie died last year I was in bits. Technically my housemate owned him, but I was the one who walked him everyday and played with him etc, so he felt like he was my dog. I always think the best way to honour a lost dog, is to adopt another rescue dog and give them the best life you can. Unfortunately it's a sad part of life with pets, it almost feels cruel that dogs (and cats and most other pets, not turtles lol) lead much shorter lives than us. Like if there is a god (I'm not saying there is or isn't), why would they do this to us?! Keep mementos of her, collar, lead etc, and maybe use them for another dog. If you have the capacity for another dog, living arrangements-wise, I say you go for it. Get one, and treat it with all the love and care it deserves like with Nancy. Get another dog, not just to give the dog a good life, but to give you a good life also. I wish I could get one, but my mate the owner of where I live doesn't want another unfortunately. You're a lovely person and I wish you all the best, and hope to see many more videos from you in the future. Take real good care of yourself Tori. And if you ever feel down about Nancy, just remember her running on the sand or bounding around on the rocks, whatever memory makes you happy or laugh. I'll always remember Charlie leaping through a long, grassy meadow like some kind of gazelle, it always makes me chuckle. X
I’m so sorry about Charlie. I think if you are the person doing all the walking and playing etc they definitely feel like your dog you must really miss him. Yeah even though you know in your reasonable mind when you get a pet that they will die before you it still seems so unfair when it happens. I have to say that the fact Miss Nancy is the first pet of my own I have had and that made me responsible for her life including the most compassionate end really struck me hard and made it very difficult to deal with the first few weeks. I have all her things it makes me feel better having them with me, and I will use them for a new dog she would want that she was very pragmatic 😊 I am not sure if I can adopt another dog straight away due to living arrangements as you say, but I am certain that I will now, it must be my future. I hope one day you can get another dog too, and I will definitely try to keep the happy and funny memories of Nancy in my mind 🥰 x
Tori, you are so brave posting this for all to see. Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest experiences we can ever go through. As a grown man in his 50's I was in tears within the first 4 mins of watching this. Believe me, I truly can understand how this has made you feel, and all of it is perfectly natural to feel as you do. I lost a beloved cat in 2020, and I still miss him everyday, I still have many many pics of him, but 4 years on I still cannot look at them. The only thing I can say is to treasure the memories and the time you spent together, it will help in getting you to a better place eventually. We never forget the pets we loved, instead we learn to live with the loss and try and move forward as best as possible. Yes, life will never be the same, but it will be different, and in time the pain will lessen. It may sound cliched, but no matter how long the night is, the dawn will break. Stay positive, and keep doing the things in life that make you happy.
I understand exactly how you feel. Your grieving. A friend has just lost her rescue greyhound suddenly. Her constant companion. Its hard to explain to a non dog person. One idea ive seen recently is walking the West Highland Way. Not too strenuous and can be done in 7 -10 days. I saw a vlog recently of an american lady who, at a difficult time of her life, did the West Highland Way. It helped her enormously, and gave her a love of specific walks in the uk. Kayaking is a great option too. I started to learn. The best think is to go on a course, or join a club. They often do courses for newbies which includes the basics but importantly, the safety aspects, including how to get out of a capsized kayak, empty it, and get back in. Best wishes for whatever you choose x p.s. it turned out i didnt continue as my whippet didnt do water 😊
Thank you ☺️. Your poor friend. I can’t help feeling close to all greyhounds. The West Highland way sounds great, and not too long to get me started. If I go to Scotland I could easily walk, kayak, so much space. You are gift though a course would be better than jumping straight in which was my natural instinct 🫣 Oh no, well Miss Nancy would agree with you whippet about that, I still wish I’d had the chance to take her on a boat though. At least you can easily pick up a whippet and pop them onto a boat…but if they hate it well who needs boats anyway ❤️ x
Really took me back to the passing of my first greyhound. It was just so hard not having her around, always eyes on me, ready to go. I've lost another since and that was just as tough. I guess it will be the same when my latest girl leaves us. You always know you're likely to lose your dog so just make each day count and make your hound's life is a good one
Sorry to hear of your loss. It’s hard I Know but the thing is she has left you with a most precious gift .. memories.. as long as you have those she won’t ever leave your side. And keep your smile as long as you have that you have everything. I’m sure I speak for all your followers when I say take 👍
I can see your struggling, I have had many rescue dogs over the years and losing them is almost impossible but the one thing I have found that saved me is getting another dog . Not replacing them, that never happens but having a new dog that needs you and having a new focus for your time and thought helps no end. I’m 7 rescue dogs in now (Rhodesian ridgebacks are my dog drug of choice) and I have lots of very wonderful memories of them all , I have 3 at the moment! Take care Chris.
I think you must be right, if my life were more stable atm I would be seriously thinking about going to a rescue. As it is I have to be a bit more patient but it will happen I truly hope. I feel like rescuing Nancy gave my life meaning and worth. 7 dogs in that is so wonderful, Rhodesian Ridgebacks are very beautiful, 3 must be a bit of a handful!? 🙏
I was actually talking to her while I was out today, it did help, it’s too awful to think she is just totally gone. I want her by my side even if I can’t see her, thank you.
I am so sorry for your loss but please keep going your a lovely lady I am in Ireland and maybe given time you wont replace Nancy but you could give another rescue a great life as you gave Nancy🌹🌹☘☘
Thank you, I hope I will get another rescue dog 🙏 Miss Nancy was actually Irish, I had been planning to bring her back home to explore if we had been able! ❤️☘️
What?! I just came across your videos recently, and didn't know that you'd lost Nancy. I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I lost my greyhound girl to bone cancer last year, and it was devastating. She was so similar to Nancy with her odd little quirks and mannerisms, so it was cathartic to see Nancy enjoying life and going on so many adventures and sort of living vicariously through you. I am so sorry for your pain - I personally hated walking our old hikes without my best bud, but you do whatever you need to keep going. Echoing what others have said, she had the best possible life with you, and you'll have her by your side, always.
thank you 😞 I am so sorry for your loss too it is devastating absolutely, and it doesn’t get better quickly. To be honest I have been avoiding our old walks too, however it has been very difficult because I always took her everywhere. I still talk to her. it’s very hard to let go still.
Three and a half years is far, far too short a time to have been with Nancy. My heart just breaks for you. Grief takes time and comes in waves. I think you will rescue another greyhound when you are ready. They will never replace Nancy -she will always be with you - but they will have another place in your heart and will help you to heal. Be kind to yourself, Tori. Sending you hugs xxx
It is, I have to try not to let my through go in that direction because it’s really just too much. When I think of her happy well well next to me it’s easier 💔 I think you’re right and Nancy will send me another greyhound when the time is right, thank you 🤗 xxx
I can feel so, so much with you. Few years ago, I also lost my best companion in Ms. Lotte, but I had to make the decision to let her go. I can't find the right words, but I hope you are coping better than I am. My deepest sympathy and best wishes for you. There is more to come. Thank you for sharing all this great experiences with Ms. Nancy! Greyhounds are so sweet and lovely. ❤ Warm hugs and condolences I am still struggling to find the right words. Marco.
Hey Marco, thank you so much for this. I’m not sure I am doing better than you, I had to make that decision too and it is a terrible thing. I can’t even think about it really, probably never without breaking down. But I do love thinking about her being happy. It’s very hard managing the emotions. Thank you for the kind words, I hope we both can find a way ❤️
It’s tough when your dealing with the loss of your companion, only you know the best way forward. From my experience the passing of time will help. Best wishes. What to do with yourself 🤔 keep showing us Cornwall / Devon, places not easy to find, anything to keep yourself out of mischief🙂
Am so sorry to hear you lost your dog i will pray for you to stay strong and if you find it hard plz try and think off getting another rescue dog thats the only real cure always here for you god bless
So good to see you out and about again in beautiful Cornwall, after the sad loss of Miss Nancy. For those that are connected, being in the 'Great Outdoors' is therapy in itself, I totally agree with what you said. It took getting a dog, many years ago, to get my connection, but it has since supported me through many hard times, and losses. I personally choose to go to our favourite places, once I am ready. There are tears, but also good memories, which bring a smile. The smiles eventually outweigh the tears, which, to me, means acceptance of the loss, but eternal memories of the good times. RIP Miss Nancy 😢
Thank you for this ☺️ I think I have now accepted it which has definitely helped me too think of the good times more. I am sure I will like going back to our favourite places when I am ready, and I am lucky to have so many different places that we adventured in the think about her 💔🥰
@@missnancysdayoffI stumbled across your site, I have a Beddlington wippet cross Scarlet, that goes everywhere with me so I know how much they mean to us .We are in North Cornwall so have enjoyed your trip here.
Go with the flow and please don’t apologise for any tears x they are a natural part of grieving xx we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place with plenty of countryside and coastal walks to explore x and I am a believer in ocean therapy whether that is walking by, sitting by or getting in xx most days I find myself by some water 🌊 😊 rest x breathe and take care x big hug x
Miss Nancy wouldn't want you to be so sad or alone, she would want you to love another dog, there are so many rescues out there desperate to be loved by a beautiful soul like you and it helps with the healing process.
I am so sorry for your loss, recently I have lost my sidekick of 17 years and it's strange, weird and painful. When it's right for you try and find the drive to make Nancy priud of you with your actions, good luck
Since I subscribed to your channel, I've been learning more about you and Miss Nancy. Your love of her comes across the beautiful way you talk about her. Sorry that I'm only sending my condolences now. Thank you for sharing this moving video 🤗
Thank you 🙏 She was the best part of the channel I wish you would have seen her first, but if you watch the older videos you’ll see how special she was. My girl 💔
Losing a loved pet is a hard thing . Your videos of Cornwall have given me some good places to go and look at when I'm next down there . So please keep doing the videos ,but also give yourself time to come to terms with what's happened, and don't be sorry or don't try to hold it back when you need to cry . Stay safe and take care
You will never forget, nor replace her. But you out immersing yourself in nature. That is always great for healing any pain. You are human but moving forward so well. Best wishes to you x
Nice to see your little toes in the water. Yes first the fresh air and light ✨️ then the water. Whole body in the water this will start the gentle process of healing and love ❤️ Best wishes Johnathan
Sadness hates a moving target Tori, so you're being brave and doing the right thing. I have a philosophy that if you don't know which way to go, then take a step in any direction, and if it's not the right way for you, turn round and go the other way. You're halfway there! In Cornwall the sea is in pretty much every direction, so there's a clue... Hugs xx
I think you’re right, starting to move in any direction is progress! And you don’t always know until you try what will work. Every path odes lead to the sea its true ☺️ xx
Hey. I've just come across your channel and am really enjoying your content. I live on a narrowboat as of nearly 3 years ago, but want to also get a larger van to convert and explore via road. Just wanted to say I lost my old boy just before new years 2024. He was the absolute love of my life. A complicated boy (border collie), from the Pyrenees Mountains in the south of France. More wolf than dog lets just say, as he could be rather ferocious to those who didn't know him, but deep down he was misunderstood and a big softy under all that front! Took a long time to gain his trust and respect, but worth it to say the very least. As you say, Nancy was your companion and have to say he was mine. Hard even nearly 6 months on thinking about him without shedding a tear. But thanks to you and this vlog, openly talking about this helps others, including me. So I'm very grateful to you for sharing your story of Nancy and how it has impacted you losing her. It's very hard as you know. I miss my boy so much still, and always will. But know I gave him my all and he in turn did the same for me. I guess what I am trying to say, is I see in your vlog how raw the emotion is and how completely devastated you are and empathise with your loss. You said in an early vlog that you want to leave the world a better place or something along those lines, and I can't agree more. Kudos to you being Vegan, I've been a fellow Vegan for 7 years now. So it's always so reassuring to see others out there that share my ethos, compassion and empathy for animals and the world. You also said that you want to buy or rent land, and that's also on my list. Amazing that TH-cam can have it's pros after all! As it's so nice to see there are others out there that share my views, goals, etc. as your channel just randomly popped up on my recommended list. Most probably because I watch a lot of narrowboat, van life and off grid type channels. Anyway, less of the rambling on. Just wanted to say hello. From Derbyshire, Luke. ✌️
Hey Luke, I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos ☺️ that’s so interesting you live on a narrowboat, I have recently been wondering about it myself, but as I’ve never been on one it’s hard to know if I’d like it! Did you know a lot about boats before doing that? I’m so sorry you lost your boy. It’s such a hard thing to get over, it’s now been a couple of months since I lost Miss Nancy and I’m not really feeling much better. I am glad this video had helped a bit, thanks for sharing your story with me to it’s been really helpful to me as well hearing from people who understand how I feel 🙏 Glad to meet a fellow vegan too, I sometimes feel like the only one as none of my family/friends do the same. glad you found the channel anyway I guess YT does sometimes know what it’s doing! ✌️
@@missnancysdayoff Hey. Thank you for your response. I'm sure you'd like narrowboat life, it's kind of vanlife on water but with more space and the option to travel around the canal and river networks. Nothing like mooring up in the middle of the countryside. Living on a boat for me is what I've been searching for, and no, I had never been on boats, nor knew anything about them until I moved aboard mine. I wanted to do vanlife (still do) but decided to go for a boat. Ultimately if like a small plot of land so I can be self sufficient. That's the plan someday! 🙏. Yes losing an animal companion is hard, as they aren't always just an animal if you know what I mean. More a family member. I said I would not get another dog now since losing him, but really do miss the company of a dog. Yes, always good to see fellow Vegan folk out there and meet them. They are a rare species, but do exist. Most of my family are vegan, so for me I know many. Anyway less of the rambling! 👀🤣. All the best. ✌️
My sincere condolences to you for the loss of you beautiful Dog Miss Nancy the memories you will carry forever in your heart sending you my warmest wishes Terry xx
I just came across your channel from a video about Miss Nancy's day out in Cornwall from some months back. I was surprise to see the latest video to find this sad news of her passing...I was watching a number of videos related to greyhound and love watching their lovely demeanour. Take care.
I stumbled across your videos, I love Cornwall, been working my way around over the last few years. I grew up with Greyhounds. My parents were part of a local rehoming trust, they're beautiful dogs. Miss Nancy was definitely a special one. I feel your loss. But I look forward to seeing where you go. If we cross paths, I'll say hi. Keep your chin up x
I’m glad you found us ☺️ that is so lovely you must have got to know them so well, they really are beautiful special dogs, and Miss Nancy was a queen 🥰 thank you, maybe see you out there! X
Miss Nancy will always be with you, I know exactly how you feel as I felt like this when I lost my beautiful greyhound Jesse. I had her for 9 years and lost her to cancer, I was devastated and waited a couple of years to get another dog, Ruby who I lost during covid, I am now at the stage where I am ready to bring another greyhound into my life, greyhounds are the most beautiful dogs and it is an honour to own one. 💖🐾🐾
thank you for sharing this 🙏 we have been lucky to have Miss Nancy and Jesse and Ruby in our lives even though it could never be enough time. it is an absolute honour to have one, so lovey that you are ready to welcome a new pointy face ❤️🐾🥰
Sorry for your loss. It's a shame their lifespan is so short. My girl was the closest I'll ever have to having a kid of my own and I had to put her to sleep few months ago due to old age . She gave me 15 years of memories and joy . She was a big part of me . I miss her so but I hope I can reunite with her after this life. Dogs are filled with love and they have their own personalities. Missed but not forgotten . Rip Chloe .
Thank you 🙏 I am so sorry you lost Chloe, so glad she had a long happy life with you though. Dogs really are so special. So much more than I realised before I had Miss Nancy. I am sure you will see Chloe again ❤️
Beautiful video, beautiful lady, beautiful thoughts, beautiful memories thank you for sharing. It will take time and a lot of courage to move on in life . But be certain and cherish the thought that Miss Nancy will always be with you in whatever the future brings for you . Take care and be strong for your wellbeing 🥰👍
Im sorry to hear about Nancy , I’ve not watched your channel for a while (moved to Portugal) but want you to know that you are doing amazing and love watching your chilled out peaceful content …. Keep on shining your light lovely lady 🙏😃✨ Ps I was brought up with at least 14 boxers … my parent used to show them around the country and completely understand the emotions of loss you are feeling … stay strong ✨
Thank you 🙏 I am so glad you like the videos too ☺️ I hope you’re enjoying Portugal that sounds like a great adventure. 14 boxers! Oh my word that’s sounds pretty hectic 🤣❤️🐕
2:11 That’s good advice Tori … I’m so sorry to hear about your struggles after losing your beloved pet … they are sometimes better friends than humans it’s got to be the right thing to just get out doors and be amongst beautiful nature. I really hope by now 5 momths or so I am assuming after you released this video that you are starting to move forward ❤
I remember loosing my 1st dog - I cried for ages. I'd 'adopted' him when I got married as he was the wife's dog. Such a scamp but we both loved him and he flew back with us when we came back to the UK from the US. We had another year with him before he passed but I know he'll be waiting for me when it's my time to go. Took quite a while to get over loosing him but we've now got a lovely retired greyhound - a grey, just like Miss Nancy - such a lovely dog - we feel truly blessed to be her parents now. Going to take her on a road trip to the Highlands of Scotland sometime this year so she can go on hikes and run along empty sandy beaches. Life's so short, go on a road trip somewhere, money isn't everything.
He sounds like a funny dog, so nice you brought him back to the UK. The trip sounds so lovely, I always wanted to take Miss Nancy to Scotland. I hope you have a wonderful time with your greyhound girl I am sure she will love it. Maybe I will take that road trip ☺️
Heartbreaking video and I feel your pain. Thanks for sharing. I lost my dog, my best friend, my companion, my confidant and like you I couldn't deal with the loss. I have always taken solace in the ocean and decided to take up Sea Kayaking. I joined a club in Cornwall and have recently passed my Sea Kayaking Award.... amazing... just amazing.( you defo need to know what you are doing if you are thinking of Kayaking around the Cornish coast) It also brought me a huge amount of peace and acceptance and help me to take the plunge and get another dog. I now have another best friend, companion and soul mate. Dogs are incredible beings. What can I say, apart from keep taking in everything that nature provides. She will nuture you and show the way.
I am so sorry about your dog. The hole they leave is quite incredible I didn’t really understand that until Miss Nancy. I am so glad you found your way through it and that sounds so good I can really see myself loving that, the water is the most soothing thing. I’m so glad you found your new best friend, do they go boating with you? Thank you so much for this 🙏
@@missnancysdayoff Rufus does go kayaking with me, although on a sit on top rather than my closed cockpit boat. In fact, he does pretty much everything with me now, even swimming in the freezing ocean and he's even attended a funeral ( I know... I did get some funny looks, but he did break the ice). I did quite a bit of research and opted for a 4 wheel drive, all terrain dog... A working Cocker Spaniel, beautiful and intelligent, but mad as a box of frogs.
Rufus sounds great. I admit that technically they may be other styles of dog more suited to some of the things I like doing, but I am very committed to greyhounds 🥰

Just caught up on my TH-cam subs to hear of your sad loss Tori. So sorry to hear that Miss Nancy did not pull through. I'm sure you did everything possible for her and your absolute love for her was there for us all to see. I have a very dear friend who has been rescuing racing greyhounds for decades and she gives them the most wonderful "retirement" out in the Chiltern's countryside. Funnily enough most of them look exactly like Miss Nancy although she always has boys. She always has two at a time and over the years as each one has reached the end of their time with her she rescues another youngster who has come to the end their racing days and needs some love and security. Each time the new greyhound joins her family they all become inseparable and when I next meet her on my morning walk she introduces me to the new arrival and very soon, once he knows me, he will be coming to rest his head in my lap when kneel down to fuss them. I think all rescue greyhounds are special and I'm sure in time you will find another beautiful ex-racer that you will love every bit as much as you did Miss Nancy. Be gentle with yourself Tori. As time heals the pain you feel your love will stay forever and will lift you up and ultimately make you stronger. ❤
thank you 💔 Your friend sounds like a wonderful person, and they sounds like very happy greyhounds. They are all so special you are right. Thank you ☺️❤️
Coco my 9yr old grey is so much part of our lives, I can't imagine what it's going to feel like, you had amazing memories and she had a great life full of love from her human, sending hugs!
Now I know why you were sad in later videos. It’s a close bond people have with their pets- with dogs particularly, understandably - so I’m sorry for your loss of Miss Nancy. As you say, there are other pointy dogs waiting to be saved and loved.
Keep on keeping on Tori, it's the greatest tribute to dear Miss Nancy. I remember when I lost my first dog in 2013, the feelings and grief were shockingly overwhelming. But grief is love. So one day you'll be able to share that love again with another sweet dog. And Miss Nancy will totally approve ❤❤❤❤
Tori, thanks for your very honest video. You asked for suggestions as you what you should do. I’d suggest you get another rescue greyhound. All stakeholders would benefit from you doing this. Firstly, you’d provide a grey with a happy, loving and interesting home. Secondly, you clearly loved having a dog around. Finally, I’m sure many of your fans are like me and cannot have our own dog. We really enjoyed following your adventures.
This does seem to be a popular suggestion ☺️ I can definitely see the benefits as well. I’m not sure a rescue would give me a dog in the van? So I am thinking I need to maybe sort something different out first. I did love having Miss Nancy with me ❤️ i think the future definitely includes another pointy face for adventures, Miss Nancy started it but I don’t think she would want it to end with her 🙏
@@missnancysdayoff Tori, I take a differing view to yourself on this. If you showed the rescue place your videos of the life you gave Miss Nancy I'm sure they would be impressed. Also I think you've contributed a lot to getting people to consider rescue greys.
@user-uj9fj6ki3i I suppose it’s worth a try, I honestly don’t know what they would think or not! I suppose there is no harm talking to one and if it goes down badly I would need to go to a different one 🫣 I hope I have helped, been thinking today I need to see how I can do more for them.
Sorry for your loss..😢 she had a fantastic life with you..that’s for sure..x . I had a white greyhound ( Texas lady ) she got bone cancer, she lived for two more years after an amputation..she was always loved by everyone.. it’s hard, the bigger dogs don’t live very long..it’s not fair.. 😢I can’t bear to have another one…I’m so sorry for you..❤❤
Thank you 💔 x Texas Lady sounds like such a brave girl, I am so sorry you lost her. Maybe one day she will send you another greyhound when you are ready❤️❤️
Hi Tori i know just how you feel i lost my wife to cancer its been 5 years but you never stop feeling lost what i did in the end was to walk the west highland way in Scotland and also i rented a cancel boat as it took away not feeling so sad please dont feel you have to say sorry for crying one day the sun will shine and you will get your beautiful smile back take care sweet lovely lady😃❤
Thank you for this, I am so sorry you lost your wife how awful. Sounds like you found some great ways to keep moving forward I can see myself doing that too ❤️☺️
😊 such a lovely film Tori. I love your celebration of Nancy's life ... As to what you should do, yes some floaty adventures but not overwhelming national challenges. Don't punish yourself ❤
Hi Tori... totally get the walking in the countryside thing.. you can't beat it 👌🙏. Nancy Drew will always be with you in your heart and I'm sure she would want you to have another little friend one day to enjoy 🌈💖... It takes time though I'm sure. You just need to look after yourself and a challenge sounds like a great idea. I know you could do anything if you wanted to... you are a beautiful, clever, adventurous lady. I've been feeling a little low lately too and walking has always been my go to 🚶. Sending hugs and wishing you feeling stronger and more like yourself soon 🤗🥰🌈😘
You are so sweet thank you ☺️ I am hoping Nancy Drew will send me another friend when the time is right. I’m getting a long list of ideas now so I hope I am going to be pretty busy, and I am starting to feel more myself too. I hope you feel better, the worst thing about feeling low is when you can’t even make yourself do anything that would help, I’m glad you have walking too 🤗❤️🐕
I really feel for you right now as we've been through it too. We lost our first family dog and it was so hard. She looked after our children as they grew but sadly couldn't be with us long enough. But she was so loved, always, and still is. We made a box frame with photos, trinkets and a list we wrote of all the memories she built with us. We will never forget her. We also knew we had to rescue another dog and she is also perfect. Staffies are so misunderstood. You said you would consider another rescue and I would go for it. It's not disrespectful to Nancy at all - she'd want you to be happy but also to be caring for another four legged friend. Glad you've got out and that you are in such an awesome area for doing so. Also glad you have your sister and it's clear you have a great relationship - cherish that. You've got the right attitude, strong, brave, caring, sharing and thoughtful. Don't change. Keep on trying, looking for positives but not losing the caring side. You won't forget Nancy, the pain won't ever fully go but that's OK - it means you loved each other so much. As for going forward - do what makes you happiest, lifes too short to not do that. Volunteering is good, being outside is awesome... but you know all this because you're amazing, even if you don't appreciate that. We see it.
Thank you so much this is such a kind and sweet message ☺️ I have all Miss Nancys things around me and it does bring me some comfort. A little box of her fur 😖. Staffies are misunderstood for sure I don’t know them well but a friends has a couple and they are super sweet. I’ve just always been drawn to long legged dogs myself!
Hello Tori I'm sorry to here of your loss. Some say time is a great healer but it doesn't make it any easier.I hope you have some close friends around you to help you at this very sad time. Much love.
Grief is hard and it’s been a long wet spring but it will get better. Keep swimming, keep going even when you don’t feel like it. May be another dog when the time is right.
I cannot now go to the rural places we used to go for walks i actively avoid them. Love is indestructable and unconditional so your dog and you are still in full flow.
So sorry to hear of your loss and I really do understand how painful it is, and we all miss her too. You gave her a fantastic life. You are asking what to do and all I can suggest is adopt another Greyhound. I know you can never replace Miss Nancy but all Greyhounds have their own individual characteristics and idiosyncrasies that you will learn to love and will love again. When you feel ready please adopt again I'm sure it will help you.
thank you 🙏 it’s still hard to believe she isn’t here really, I will never stop loving her. You are right greyhounds are all so special and I want to hep as many as I can 😊
It is really tough when they go, I lost Charlie after 13 years & was devastated. You never truly get over it. Everyone said 'get another', but I never did as i'd be doing it for the wrong reasons - i'd just be expecting another Charlie & all dogs are different, so it wouldn't be fair on them. Plus, I don't think I want to go through having another one die. Its tough, i'd love another dog but don't think I could now
It is such a hard thing to deal with. Everyone seems to have a different way, I guess there no right answer. I too never want to go through this again, and yet my desire to give a home to another dog that has never known love or a home before and is stuck in a shelter is more powerful. Maybe one day it will be right for you.
I am so sorry to hear your sad news and could clearly see the upset in you. I so love following your travels and those will Miss Nancy will continue to live on in our hearts x🫂
I feel your pain , I lost my little border terrier ,3 weeks after moving to Cornwall after spending every day together for 14 and a half years . So I was all alone without my best friend and it was hard . This will be the fifth year without her and I still miss her every day . I found it helps to visit the places we used to walk together and remember her . My thoughts are with you .
Bless you, sweetheart. I think it's a sign for you to do something completely different, when you're ready. A new lifestyle beckons, lovely woman......and a life partner who will be like nobody you've ever known before. Go with the flow and all with be revealed. The most important thing is to continue to be your authentic self 💜
The hardest thing is saying goodbye to our loved ones…. but they leave us with so many lovely memories to sustain us. They will always live on in our hearts 💕 There will be opportunities to love again and other dogs that will share your love 💗
Life is all about making memories and experiencing different things. The next few months are going to be challenging and will feel very raw, especially as you both spent all your time together. You live in a fantastic part of the world, so why not set yourself a target of visiting all of the beeches in Cornwall, or walking all of the coast and spreading it out over the next few years. You are always happy when you are in Cornwall, and it’s great that your sister is close by for support. So I would definitely stay in Cornwall for the next few months whilst the weather gets better, and see where life takes you. A difficult video to make, I am sure, but well done for doing it and baring your sole to the internet. Life will get easier, and as the cheesy old saying goes….. time is a healer. Take care, and all the best with whatever you decide to do in 2024 👍🏼
Thank you for this 🙏 It’s a really interesting different perspective, I think I have felt like I want to run away from here because there are so many painful memories. But this is a beautiful place that has made me happy, and if I stayed here I guess it would again. I appreciate this ❤️
Memories and places that trigger emotions are not everyone’s cup of tea. It goes back to the natural ‘fight or flight’ instinct that we humans have. And sometimes the fight option can be the harder path to take, but more rewarding in the long run. But that is something that only you can decide, and there is no right or wrong decision. Just think of all the beautiful locations that you both spent together, and the happy times you spent there. So whilst revisiting those places can be an emotional rollercoaster and difficult to start with, they can also serve to help restore and keep those happy memories alive. I lost both parents when I was younger, and having places that I can visit and recall happy childhood memories was key for my wellbeing, and actually helped me come to terms with the losses. And years later, although these locations can stir some pretty strong emotions when visiting, I love the way that they also help me recall some happy memories. So whilst the ‘fight’ option isn’t always the easiest, it can be very rewarding in the long term. I am sure you will find and take the path that feels right, and always go with your gut instinct. I love Cornwall, and whilst I haven’t visited for a few years, it is definitely one of the many places i like to go for long walks and reflect in the stunning scenery, and has some very happy memories. Stay strong and keep the faith, and sending a big virtual hug your way 🥰
@richieboy1971 I think I am going to try to do both. Not run away for the sake or running, but because so exploration will be a good challenge for me. And come back and let myself me in all the places I was most recently with Miss Nancy. What else can I do, I love thinking about her and if that brings pain as well as happiness so be it. I am so sorry you lost both your parents. I think you are right it must be important having those places you can go and be with happy memories. 🥰
Im so sorry. 😢 I've had my wee heart broken like this many times over the years. But the love you get from them is worth it, even if not long enough. When my boy Dillon passed in october last year, i got very depressed and couldn't move. I honestly gave up. It was the first time I had, had no dogs in my adult life I had to get a dog as soon as i could, cause i was lost. I got my greyhound Jet in december. He's a really good, special boy. Really helped me heal. When you're ready, i hope you rescue another. You've so much love to give and an amazing life ❤
I am so sorry you lost Dillon. It never seems like enough time. Jet sounds like he saved you what a lovely boy, was it ok straight away you didn’t ever wish he was Dillon? I know they are all different and so special and I have room in my heart to love another dog for themselves, I just want to make sure I can give them everything they deserve.
@missnancysdayoff they're all totally different. Dillon was my special boy, and can't be replaced, but Jet is a special boy too and helped me so much! He's my first greyhound as well. Think when he has to leave me another dog will have huge paws to fill. 😉 He settled in so quickly. I say to him that Dilly dog sent him to look after his mammy. Bless him. ❤️ Miss Nancy will send you another baby to love and look after you too. I believe that. Xxx ❤️
Oh and I still talk to Dillon and tell him and all my others that I miss them, and that I hope they know I'll never replace them, but am sure they want me to love and be loved again by another. ❤️
You’re right none of them can be replaced, but they don’t need to be they are all so different. Lovely Jet, it is amazing how quickly they can settle in given the lives greyhounds have before they come to a home! I hope you are right about Dillon and Miss Nancy, I miss her so. Much to type this evening is making me cry, but I want her to send another dog for me to love when she thinks it’s right xxx ❤️
The hardest thing about owning a dog is knowing that your time together will never be enough & saying goodbye is inevitable. Love them while you can.
It’s true. I am going try love my next dog even harder, I didn’t think I could love Nancy Drew more but now I wish I had managed it ❤️
We resuced another Anstaff 9 years ago following the death of our beloved Tina. Rescue another Greyhound and give her all the love you can remembering that she will never replace Miss Nancy, but in time will become just as dear to you
Nailed it mate
Thank you, I think you might be right and I will try to love it even more, I’m worried about wishing they were Miss Nancy but I know any dog would be just as special in their own right in time 🥰
@@missnancysdayoffEach dog has their own quirks and personality but what they all have in common is their bond with their human, their ability to give love and their joy at living in the here and now. Your memories of Nancy won't change or fade and a new dog won't take her place in your heart. It'll just find its own place there and snuggle right into it. That's what dogs do.
I agree 🙏
@@missnancysdayoff just a heads up my dear, every rescue greyhound are incredibly special, just like Miss Nancy your best friend x
Losing a best friend is so desperately sad. I feel your pain. Take comfort in knowing that she loved every moment you had with her. You gave her the best possible life a dog could wish for. Xx
Thank you ☺️ I love every moment I had with her too what a girl xx
@@missnancysdayoff that Love never fades. Its with you both for eternity. I know it. ❤🙏👋
She will always be with you, she’ll love to see you out on the coastal path ❤
People say “they’re just pets”, but they’re more, so much more than that; I had a golden Labrador many years ago and still think of her when I go out walking somewhere new, but now with fond memories.
It’s true, I didn’t rally understand how different songs are before I got Miss Nancy. I’m lucky to have is many beautiful memories ☺️
I hope that you manage to feel a little better each day
Thank you, you are so kind. I’m glad you liked the video, I am feeling a bit better each day I think nature and time are doing their work 🙏
We suddenly lost our beloved dog on Friday. To say we are devastated is an understatement. I have never seen my husband cry so much. They leave a huge gap in our lives. Big hugs from Scotland xx
💜
I am so sorry, it’s the worst thing that has happened to me I Know how you feel. I felt like I had a huge hole in my chest for weeks. I hope you are finding a way through this most terrible timexxx
It's so hard but always remember the good times you had with her. You gave her the best life. ❤
Thank you ❤️
take some time off for yourself, don't worry about us , we'll be here when you get back. xx
Thank you ☺️ xx
@@missnancysdayoff It's not rushing if you've already done it before...
That’s beautiful thank you ☺️🙏
This one was a really nice video to watch.
Im so sorry. When my dog died I was totally broken. Ron/Sweden
🙏 I hope you are doing better now it’s a horrible thing 💔
@@missnancysdayoff It was several years ago so Im ok now. But its a horrible thing. Take the best care of you.❤ Ron/Sweden
Thank you ❤️❤️🐾
I've just found out the terrible news.
Take care 🫂
Thank you ☺️ I’m glad you’ve found another dog hopefully I will too one day 🙏
I'm so sorry for your loss. Its a pain like no other. However, she would be so proud of you and the content you create. She would want you to be smiling and living your life
thank you ☺️
AH Man!! What can I say. I kn ow I said a lot already but I can't stop worrying about you. I mean; you've opened your heart... and captured mine. Now that is a song title. Definitely watch this space lovely.
Be well, happy(er!) and safe.
Love ya. Wolfie.
Love Cornwall, I'm often in Devon, your neighbor. Beautiful country. Take care, so sorry for your lost fur baby...
Cornwall and Devon are lovely. thank you ☺️
I’m so tremendously sorry for your loss.
Stay positive, and keep doing the things in life that make you happy.
thank you so much ☺️
I understand exactly how you feel.
Oh so sad, I have lost two so far in my life, living with my rescue at the moment ... It never gets easier, but doing good for them is healing !
I am sure you are right, because there are just so many that need help ❤️ lovely that you keep helping more
Really took me back to the passing of my first greyhound. It was just so hard not having her around, always eyes on me, ready to go. I've lost another since and that was just as tough. I guess it will be the same when my latest girl leaves us. You always know you're likely to lose your dog so just make each day count and make your hound's life is a good one
It’s a horrible shock then not being there always by your side with the sweet face and eyes. Greyhounds are the best companions. 🙏
Take your time, loss is so difficult. Love and best wishes.
🙏 thank you
Sorry to hear of your loss. It’s hard I Know but the thing is she has left you with a most precious gift .. memories.. as long as you have those she won’t ever leave your side. And keep your smile as long as you have that you have everything. I’m sure I speak for all your followers when I say take 👍
thank you 🙏☺️
You're a Beautiful Lady Tori. Stay strong ok ❤️ xx
Thank you ☺️ xx
Be blessed! Rest assured that your dog is now at peace and looking down upon you always!
Thank you 🙏
@@missnancysdayoff Most welcome!
Your grief is both palpable and moving, Tori. Keep talking to Miss Nancy on your walks - it’s a good thing and really helps.
Thank you so much 😊 I will definitely think of getting another rescue
@@missnancysdayoff hope your feeling abit better x
I am sure I will like going back to our favourite places when I am ready, and I am lucky to have so many different places that we adventured in the think about her 💔🥰
So sorry, loosing a beloved pet is awful. Take comfort that you gave her a great life . ❤
You are so kind thank you ❤️

Miss Nancy wouldn't want you to be so sad or alone, she would want you to love another dog, there are so many rescues out there desperate to be loved by a beautiful soul like you and it helps with the healing process.
You are right thank you 🥰 I am sure now that Miss Nancy would want me to rescue another dog and give them all the love in the world.
You are not replacing your dog. Simply adding to the family ❤
Take it day by day. When you’re ready give another dog a life like you gave Miss Nancy. ❤

I am so sorry for your loss, recently I have lost my sidekick of 17 years and it's strange, weird and painful. When it's right for you try and find the drive to make Nancy priud of you with your actions, good luck
I am sorry too for you own, it really is all those things. Thank you 🙏
Sorry to hear about your loss. You gave her the best life and I'm sure she loved and appreciated the companionship you both had.❤.

My girl 💔
@missnancysdayoff Yes, I'm catching up on the earlier ones, and I can see why she meant so much to you. A true and loyal companion 💚
Thank you ☺️ I am glad the videos have given you some inspiration too 🙏

Time is the only healer and everyone needs different amounts. Sorry to see you so unhappy, but very understandable indeed ..deepest condolences 🙏

i'm so so sorry. in shock. love watching miss nancy on youtube. feel for you. dogs are the best. i live in fear of this day happening. xx

Thank you ☺️ ❤️❤️🐾
Tori, thanks for your very honest video.

I hope you feel better, the worst thing about feeling low is when you can’t even make yourself do anything that would help, I’m glad you have walking too 🤗❤️🐕
@@missnancysdayoff 🙏💖😘
It’s heartbreaking… I feel for you. My dog (Marvin ) is my absolute everything.
I can’t imagine what you are going through x
Thank you 🙏 I’m glad you have Marvin, Nancy Drew was everything to me too x
Awww. I know she was. I have been watching your amazing videos a while now. It’s so so sad. Sending hugs from Cheshire from me and Marvin. X
Hello Tori I'm sorry to here of your loss. Some say time is a great healer but it doesn't make it any easier.I hope you have some close friends around you to help you at this very sad time. Much love.
Thank you so much, I have had a lot of support and things are starting to get better 🙏
Grief is hard and it’s been a long wet spring but it will get better. Keep swimming, keep going even when you don’t feel like it. May be another dog when the time is right.
Thank you 🙏
I cannot now go to the rural places we used to go for walks i actively avoid them.
Love is indestructable and unconditional so your dog and you are still in full flow.
It’s very tough isn’t it, those familiar places where they should be. That is a lovely thought thank you 🙏
So sorry to hear of your loss and I really do understand how painful it is, and we all miss her too.
Thank you 🙏 I’m so glad so many people will remember what a special girl Miss Nancy was x
My thoughts are with you .
i am so sorry, I feel you 💔 Remembering the happy times does bring me joy even though everything is so tinged with sadness at the moment 🙏
Great to see you out and about, memories never fade but the pain does. Do what makes you happy and follow your heart. 😉
Thank you ☺️
Bless you, sweetheart.
Thank you ☺️ Miss Nancy really never can leave my heart ❤️
I've had my wee heart broken like this many times over the years. But the love you get from them is worth it, even if not long enough.
When my boy Dillon passed in october last year, i got very depressed and couldn't move. I honestly gave up. It was the first time I had, had no dogs in my adult life
I had to get a dog as soon as i could, cause i was lost.
@missnancysdayoff they're all totally different.
Dillon was my special boy, and can't be replaced, but Jet is a special boy too and helped me so much!
He's my first greyhound as well.
Think when he has to leave me another dog will have huge paws to fill. 😉
He settled in so quickly. I say to him that Dilly dog sent him to look after his mammy. Bless him.
❤️
Miss Nancy will send you another baby to love and look after you too.
