BRO soooo many gems in this video!!🔥🔥🔥 I LOVED the music portion and how you explained everything and showed how to use them. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Epidemic needs to give you a sponsorship cause you just gave them more business! lol I’m excited for this new series! Keep the content coming!!! 👏🏾👏🏾
Man, it’s been a minute since I’ve tapped in with your content, but I’m so glad I clicked on this video! I’ve been waiting for a tutorial like this, and Side A was incredibly helpful. Thank you for sharing your insight-your compositions are always on point!
Wow, glad to see you are back!! Great tutorial video!! I learned something!! Keep them coming. I look forward to the next one! Thanks for sharing. Take care!!
Yoooo I love how you explained this video! Really loved the bside! And I love how you explained the music! I do something similar sometimes.. where I’ll add the incremental to a whole different song. To me.. David is a boss! Great video!
I am happy that you’re back! Please do not takeaway the background noise. It makes the video more natural, especially in a city like NYC. Plus I’m a Bronx native, so my feedback’s sincere. Keep up the amazing work🙂↔️⭐️!
Where have you beeen? Man, this is the first video I see of yours and I’m in. Thank you for the info and the inspiration. I’m a new creator and recently I have had my doubts about what I can accomplish because I’m NEW in all of this, bus this video, I don’t know, the timing, the quiality, just made me smile and made me realize I can improve. Thank you! Pardon my English if miss wording something! A new follower from Colombia!
WOWSIERS, what a treat! Thank you so much for sharing this part of your craft with us, you covered A-Z. Launching my channel soon and I’ve been procrastinating particularly on Music and what medium to use. Signing up for Epidemic now. Thanks again, another Channel saved. 🙏🏾
Hey D, we've been watching you for awhile now and wanted to offer some constructive feedback. 1. You're over-using the transition sound of the camera shutter. Because you have so many cuts, it becomes really annoying really fast. 2. If you're using DaVinci, why are you not using the voice isolation in the Dumbo seating area? The background was really loud and your dialogue volume was really low. DaVinci uses AI to isolate your voice and it's very good at doing it. I just wanted to offer up my 2 cents. For sure, the transition sound when you cut needs to go. Keep on creating, it's nice following your journey.
Feedback is always welcome - appreciate this so much 🙏🏾. The cut transition is a staple in the channel. It’s definitely here to stay. However in the new series that dropping it’s used less than usual to not distract too much from the serious tonality of the series. To your point about voice isolation I tried it. But there was a lot of overcompensating trying to reduce the background that voice clarity greatly suffered. One of the cons in shooting out doors so much is the lack of a controlled environment - especially when it comes to audio. But also I didn’t realize how far my mic was from my mouth so there were some in the field mistakes and that’s cool. As time goes on and I grow as a solo filmmaker and creator I’ll find unique ways to address the challenges of shooting outdoors. But I appreciate your support and feedback so much bro thank you 🙏🏾!
@@ddames thank you for handling my feedback with such grace. What you said makes perfect sense. I too felt your mic was too low on your chest and worsening the already high noise floor. Keep climbing, we'll keep cheering from the sidelines.
@@ddamesMan I’m from New York too, if you wanna shoot one day hmu! Maybe in loud places it’s best for you to hold the mic near your mouth that way it’s easier to clean it up in resolve since your voice is much louder and clear than anything else. You are great my guy!
Hi D, love the video! Why’d you choose the lenses you currently have? I’m currently trying to decide between 16-35 and 24-70, but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Thanks a lot!
Appreciate that thank you! I chose them one most importantly they matched my budget and two because it offers me pretty good versatility. Personally I think you should go with 16-35. You can get get pretty good wide angle shots while having the 35 for some zoom 🙏🏾
Hey D Dames , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
