I plan on making the oversized top as my next sewing project. I love having the tutorials easily available because this newbie needs them. And it's not just the tutorials for the actual sewing of the projects, it's the other videos on how to print and assemble the patterns, and even the how to set up your serger threads videos, etc. I'm spreading the word about em. Thanks.
I'm not a beginning sewist, but I love the Everyday Tee in the relaxed fit. Such an easy sew, minimal fabric usage and I always get compliments on my finished tops. You can make them as simple as you want, or have a good time with some fun patterns or prints. I am looking forward to trying the Discoverer Tee here soon as well, just to change things up a bit.
Great video....I have sewn the oversized, and will sew the fall in love sweater, the going home sweater, and the everyday tee. E & M patterns have the perfect fit, and you have the perfect personality for all these projects. Thank you Diana

yes, interfacing helps a LOT!! but let me give you a secret tip... you can just skip the buttonholes and just sew the buttons right on. since its a knit top... the buttons are just for looks 🤫🤫

Very helpful video!! I’ve been wondering what the differences were between Going Home & Fall in Love tops. I love that I can usually find a sewing video for most all of my E&M patterns!!!

Still trying to get my projector set up yet, but in the process of making a nightgown with the everywhere dress pattern! Haven't got it cut out yet! My worse part with all of your lovely patterns is trying to pick out the fabrics for them. Could you just do all of that for me and tell me where to purchase the wonderful fabrics that you have made yours from!! Yes, I know you usually tell us which fabrics you are using or wearing, but I just need someone to order them for me! LOL
haha that seems to always be the hardest part! I love looking at Pinterest for inspiration and also looking at the look books on our facebook page from our testers ❤️
I have so many of the Ellie & Mac patterns. I’ve made the discoverer so far it’s hard to choose which to make next but I have fabric set aside for an oversized, and a few of the Lucky one ( open sleeves you wore it in a video and fell for the top and fabric you used )
Is there a way you can post a video on how to adjust a pattern…. I see a blog post included on your page on how to do it but I’m very visual and need a little more than just reading it… I would love a video on both how to adjust tops (bust, waist, etc.) and for adjusting bottoms (rise, crotch. Shortening legs). Thanks in advance.

It is meant for knit fabrics... if I wanted to try cotton, I would do a tester one first to see how the fit went... I actually might do that haha great idea!

I have one of your pants patterns already, and I downloaded one or two of your free patterns. I’m thinking about getting the Going Home top pattern. I wish your pattern instructions included cutting layouts, though. Laying out the pattern pieces within the recommended amount of fabric can be challenging.

I'm currently working on the Poppy Top. I love it! I couldn't make the buttonholes in the knit, but I'm going to try again.
