- Hey everyone! A few weeks ago I created a mini album for a guest design spot with Cocoa Vanilla Studio and I've never received more requests to create a tutorial! As you wish :) For this album I documented our day in Vrange, Serbia and used my Truly Grateful collection with Pink Paislee.

This is such a thorough way to explain all the components of making a mini album. Very very helpful. The hinge piece is so easy to work with when you use that strong double sided adhesive tape. I love to make mini albums and this one is so inspiring. Plus your new paper collection is so luscious and joyful. What a colorful piece. I also want to add that I struggle with how to use ephemera and watching you piece this together really helped me with design layouts. The ephemera is always so cute and makes such an impact! Glad I found this video-very cute! You mentioned the photo paper that you used. You are correct in using the Canon photo paper.. Sometimes you want to go cheap, I know I do. You always want to use the same brand of paper that you have for a printer. Ex canon and canon, HP and HP. The inks and paper were made for each other, so to speak..

You make fabulous tutorials Paige! They're a joy to watch and listen too, your happy personality shines through. The album is really charming, I adore all the piles of goodies you artfully added to each page and I will also add an eyelet in mine to add a ring of tassels and charms too, I LOVE that! Question: it looks like you only add super sticky tape to one side of an item you're sticking into the spine, is that right? Thanks so much for the tutorial, it's the next best thing to taking a class with you

Paige, thanks so much for the tips! Love the scoring template and cutting the hinge trick!!! Great tutorial TVs! One question was size needle do you use for stitching?
I use a generic needle, similar to the one that originally came with it but that broke many years ago so I just buy the generic kind in packs of 8-12.

I'm so sorry, I tried to explain as best as I could. There are other tutorials available on TH-cam with the metric system, but my score board doesn't have those measurements so I had to do it in inches.
I'm having trouble converting it to my score board too... and I have the same martha Stewart board! Lol

Trial and error :) After a lot of that I found the distance that would work for this particular size :)

Love this! I JUST bought the same sewing machine and so intimated! Haha was wondering, what size needle do you use? I've read a lot about needles breaking with paper, but you seem to not have that problem. So I was hoping you could help 💜💜💜💞
I just use a regular, generic needle, it sews through chipboard no problem :)
