I think 99.9% of us can clearly understand you with your accent. I'm from UT so I'm not exposed to southern accents usually and I understand everything you say. Those that don't should watch those without an accent, no need to leave comments.

Loved no sewing. It was fun. At the end I made a small mistake by putting the cover paper on the front cover before glueing down but managed to sort it out.

I just wanted to say, I love that you don’t speed up your videos! There’s so many others who do and it’s so frustrating because I can’t figure out what they’re doing. I really appreciate that you take the time to explain things and show us how to do it before speeding anything up. I love the hinge way the best! Just learning about all this and collecting papers. I do have a lot of stash from card making. Plan on doing this during the summer while I recoperate from a knee replacement.
This has to be one of the best tutorials I’ve ever seen explaining this technique. The best hack was using the scoreboard to cut the slits! This video was the first time I’ve seen anyone do this! Thanks!

❤️❤️❤️ the construction of this journal!!! Never seen this before either. Thank you for explaining why you didn’t glue the sections of the accordion together, it made absolute sense and definitely allows much more room to add things to the pages without getting too bulky. I might even add a ribbon closure just in case it gets nice and full so that I can hold it together just a bit more. Love this project!!!

Love this! One thing I do to my hinges before I score is to adhere tyvek making it virtually impossible for the hinge to tear.

Thank you, Eve, for this excellent tutorial! I have made quite a few since viewing this and the results have been consistently professional. One thing I have added is to glue a strip of lightweight cotton muslin/fabric to the inside of the 4" x 18" accordion hinge for extra reinforcement, in case the hinge folds crack or become compromised with time & use. These finished journals are works of art & labor and deserve many years of use. Beautiful!
