Synopsis:
For November's meeting, Kiah Nielson & Julie Price, Occupational Therapists, with Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy & Wellness educated on potty training basics, bowel and bladder dysfunction, constipation, and how sensory processing and nutritional diet can affect potty training. They covered signs, symptoms, and causes for daytime and nighttime wetting and how to manage them. They finished by covering strategies to implement to help with potty training and bowel and bladder function and indicated when a clinical intervention or a referral for OT/PT may be necessary.
