A similar Adidas skateboard shoe that may be worth checking out is the Nora... most of the colorways have mixed materials (mesh, suede, & pleather), and they're comfy, light, breathable, & stylish, while rugged & durable. Keep up the enthusiastic videos, and Godspeed.
There is a new samba model called samba xlg, which have more cushioning than the samba og model you Are talking about here. For those of you that want samba shoes with more cushioning , check out that model as well. But also, I have both the og and xlg model myself, and although xlg is more comfortable if you’re going to wear them for several hours, I don’t have any issues with the og model on my feet. So that will be individual if they fit your feet or not. (I have also seen several reviews that say they can be uncomfortable, but I have also seen others who says they are comfortable )
