    Hi,
When did this come into effect (ie can no longer resign in order to avoid disciplinary)? Is it against the law for the employer to bully you into resigning so that they avoid you continuing with the disciplinary hearing

      Hello N N
A person can resign to avoid a disciplinary hearing. But doing so makes you look "guilty".
In other words, if you were innocent, why did you resign?
It is much better to prepare for the hearing so that your name can be cleared. Especially amongst your colleagues, friends and family.

My case started in 2019. I’m now waiting for a court date. I think it is to go to the labour court because I was told awaiting a date can take 6 to 18 months

But I will call your offices maybe you could assist me because there’s also unfair labour practice involved and it is quite a list
