- While everyone is moving to Davinci, I have yet to make the switch and I'm okay with that! I've been enjoying finding my process of how I color in adobe premiere as well as my overall workflow when editing. Adobe premiere is still an industry standard NLE and does really well if you're new to color grading and work in premiere! So I hope this video helps you all!
And if you work in any other NLE the same thing applies, learn the process of what everything is created for and how it affects your image. they all do the same things just in different ways, some more than others, some better than others but at the end of the day before the Davinci fans came it was premiere! Start somewhere, learn and grow!

I'm also glad to see that you covered the skin line in the vectorscope for darker skin. This is something not a lot of creators cover in their videos.
Oh I loved this walk through… more of this for sure!
Thanks for the thorough explanations!
This video was super helpful, thank you so much!!
Wow..This was the easiest to follow color grading tutorial I have watched. I have only had my FX3 for a month but this has legit leveled me up. Had to try out the new skill and it gave me chills how good my footage looks. You are super dope!

Thanks for this informative tutorial Brittney. When I export it sucks color and contrast from my video every.single.time! So frustrating!
great video! I like the log to lut fade in at the beginning
Thank you!!
I’m so happy to finally see this, I tried reaching you on Instagram about these same color grading tips and which app you mostly use for grading. I’m okay with what I have learnt here and hoping to see more fun but yet educative videos like this.
I have a request though;
Could you please share with us the link to the Sony LUT you mentioned in the video?
Than you ☺️
Im about to watch this everyday for the next 90 days!
Lol DO IT!!!
This helped a lot. Thank you
No problem!
Hey, Just wanna say thank you britt and keep up the good work.
Thank you! Will do!
Thanks 👍
Thanks so much for this! So many videos focus on Davinci colouring haha - good to see the process for Premiere which I use with my FX3 footage
No problem! No everyone has followed the TH-cam fandom just yet haha! Premiere is still a great tool for editing snd coloring!
I'm super early :D Love to see what is different in your process compared to last time!
Honest not much of a difference. I just don’t use creative luts anymore. And play around more with the color wheels and huh vs hue to dial in my color. Everything else is pretty much similar!
This is just an update because people kept asking on social how I color with my fx3.
Loved the video. I do mostly animations though so any advice? I feel like it would be slightly different but I can’t quite figure out why.
Now I wish to get the camera settings for that slog3
God bless you for this video
Been waiting for a video like this, thanks for explaining the basic workflow of using an existing creative LUT and then diving into color grading without a creative LUT. Do you also have a video on the settings you use on your FX3?
No problem!! I usually shoot slog 3. And I make sure my exposure compensation is at +1 or a little more but never over 2 stops.
wow this is a great video even tho that i like resolve more i mihght consider trying this
Im sure you can find ways to implement certain things from this into resolve
Good stuff. I switch in between DaVinci Resolve and Premiere.
Im in DC but hopefully will be able to pick up an FX3 or Blackmagic 6K before I head to LA for some interview work. Your FX3 is insanely good
Yea I love the fx3! Still think I have more to master but the journey has been pretty cool!
Awesome video! Do you usually expose to the right with the FX3? Thanks!
Yes usually I’m always at least 1.0 over. I use the exposure compensation to always check that.
Love the teeth comment. Going to finish watching when I get off work.
Lol thank you!
Where do we find those REC709 Sony luts?

Great video - white balancing off your own teeth is a great flex 😀
Haha thank you!! I spend a lot to keep them pearly white so I can always have a bounce card with me lmbo!
Don't be afraid to brag, girl. Those teeth are perfect. The rest of the video is damn great too lol
"... cause you're gonna look like an oompa-loompa" ⚰
Honestly thank you so much for this video. My color correcting and grading has been WAY OFF 🤣 I learned so much in such a short amount of time. I appreciate it so much! I'm binging your videos now. Thank you sensai!
