    New sub here, you did a really good job on this video. Very easy to understand and follow along.
    I would like to see morr video's like this and ones showcasing your mates would be bonus, maybe even some of the maintenance they are preforming too. Dyno here we come!!

      Hey mate. thanks for the Sub & comment. What car are you working on? Good idea, I can make videos about my mate's cars easily. I just uploaded a video of my mate doing a dyno tune on my evo wagon which I found very interesting. Always great learning about these cars. take a look if you have time. cheers

    I love seeing the tech walkthroughs you’re doing, throwing in the stories of your mates cars now and then, would be cool as well.

      Thank you Dominic I’m usually proud of my latest video but it’s a bit disheartening when the platform doesn’t promote my videos. . I’ve got a few ideas for new content im just trying work out how to do them without a proper video camera. I’ll have to get creative as I’m on a tight budget.

    I have an Evo 5 with 125 psi across all 4 cylinders should I be worried?

    • @UzumakiGarage

      Was the engine hot when you did the test?

      @@UzumakiGarage yes it was

      @@davidyanez5283 125 across all cylinders is better than a drop in just one cylinder. Sound like the engine is wearing evenly or your compression tester might need to be checked for calibration. Can you borrow another comp tester and repeat the test?

      What should I do if all 4 cylinders still get 125 psi with another comp tester?

  • @Jamxknife

    I've had a cylinder pass a compression test but have 20% leakage on a leak down.

    • @UzumakiGarage
      @UzumakiGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm interesting. What did the leak down test point to?

    • @Jamxknife
      @Jamxknife ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UzumakiGarage I'm not sure. Leak down and boost leak both have the same result. Hissing out of my catch can, could be exhaust valves or crankcase (rings).

    • @UzumakiGarage
      @UzumakiGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah i think it points to rings if its making its way into your catch can

      This was going to be my question as well. I had very good results when I did the compression test before I bought my 6, but it didn't perform as well on the dyno when getting tuned and was told a leak down may be required to further diagnose
