The "Day In The Life" review style you have is excellent. Much better than all the other typical reviews on TH-cam. You've probably just sold me on this laptop.
Same, decided to buy it over a macbook pro after this video - this day in the life is the same for me, so gave me the reassurance I needed. Better way to see it working than the silly benchmarks that mean nothing to me
You are probably the only one who showcased the "one-handability" of the air. The incredible portability is easily overlooked by most reviewers. Great video.
The feeling of your videos is just so special and unique. It inspires you to live your life, step out the apartment and go do things. Your curated aesthetic and eye for interesting things, vintage and new, is also special. Much love Canoopsy
I love to watch your day in the life videos! Trying to decide between the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Don’t really need the power of the MacBook Pro so it was nice to see what the MacBook Air can do with real world activities. Thanks!
Great "a full day with.." video. I recently ordered mine, the same 8-core M3, 10-core GPU, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD variant in Space Grey..can't wait for it to be delivered..
I´m starting to believe that many tech reviewers are relying only on the video aesthetics, with no real usage on the devices to review. I don´t blame them, nor Canoopsy, as tech is what it is, and there´s little room to outstand among every YT reviewer.
I have my finger on the trigger on buying your exact Macbook (specs, color, and size). I was also looking for a very small bag to hold it, particularly to take advantage of the smaller size of the 13" model, and now I know to get the bag you mention at 2:06, so thanks for showing that! will likely be getting the bag now. Im also from Toronto too, recognized a lot of the streets in the vid! You seem to be living a lifestyle Ive been trying to get into - one with more city exploration via visiting new cafes, vintage clothes shops, and driving around with a close friend. It seems like I'm copying your whole flow but you're giving a vision of what it could look like!!
So was the laptop getting a charge when you were in the studio working with the Studio Monitor? I know you ended the day at 20% but I was wondering what % it maybe was when you got to the studio. Thanks for making this day in the life of video.
@@NoonianSoong403 thanks, technically it’s a Thunderbolt cable I imagine? So if it’s getting a charge, it makes the whole thing about ending the day at 20% charge unclear since it could have topped up to nearly 100%? It almost makes it seem like listening to music, watching House while he was cooking and working drained it from full to 20% since it was implied he was in the studio plugged in for a while, long enough to charge it back to 100%
@@UsamaAhmad I love my Studio Display + MB setup. One cable and I’m charging, extending dual screens, and usb connecting to my whole music studio. Unplug and take my work with me.
@@UsamaAhmad I think this was the least technical video on the device I’ve seen, so I wouldn’t take anything too seriously. You shouldn’t expect to use a MacBook from 100% down to less than 10% on a regular basis because that kills the life of the battery. Always try to plug in or bring a charger with you, just avoid draining it every single day. (Maybe you already know this, just saying this generally to whoever’s reading this)
I am a graduate student and most of the time I do tons of papers, worksheets, extensive research and some video or audio visual presentations (using Final Cut pro) and photo editing. Which RAM should I get, 16 or 24 GB? with your recommended RAM, I am hoping that the M3 MacBook Air won’t overheat or throttle with the work that I do.
Great video as always! Should I trade in to the 15 Pro Max or wait for the 16 Pro Max? Currently have the regular 14 Pro which has 89% battery health after a year, poor battery life, laggy and buggy experience and stuttering scrolling.
@@daniellewis1253 Ok, thanks! But, I heard about battery life is still not the best compared to the 13PM for example, the chipset is not “complete” and still has some throttling and issues like overheating sometimes, and still has a laggy and buggy software as I heard iOS 17 is still not stable exactly as iOS 16. Would you still go for it? Since you can update to iOS 18 of this year for maybe a more stable experience, and maybe battery life is still good enough.

Hey, nice Sunday morning video to watch with my breakfast! Great video! I've never used Mac.. always a windows user and currently have a surface pro 8 which is adequate. I think though to mix it up I'll finally get one of these Air's. I'm 49 and I've been a pc user since Windows 3.1 on my old Packard Bell in 1993. After a bit of research it looks like I could always run Windows on it with Parallels if I really miss it... I'll try not to though.
just make sure all of your programs are supported on macOS as well. If that box is ticked for you, you’ll have a good time with a Mac as long as you choose the right amount of storage and ram in advance. Good build, blazing fast, exceptional battery life, nice looking os. Plus macOS exclusive or primarily macOS programs (e.g. Arc!!)
I typically just use think or swim or ninjatrader for my trading platforms.. nothing too intense at all. Mainly want something quiet/fast/long battery life which sounds like the Air's specialties. My only issue is you don't have right click with a macbook?@@rexuskrackus
Great video, really enjoyed it! Thinking about switching to this from my MacBook Pro for more portability, seems like it can keep up with video editing :) Did you miss your MacBook Pro when using the Air, especially the ports, display and performance?

Great video. If you come here in Italy be aware of the pickpockets! Nice video but to be honest i really like more when you film with your camera (fx3 if im not mistaken). I like the style, the music and the naration. One think i dont like is the translation of the tshirt label in greek. hahaha, nice try though!
Yes and no: Apple Silicon Macs have had a choppy scrolling bug since 2020. There are microstutters everywhere, especially in Safari. It's basically unusable there.
