want to ask im planting on black ginger in polybag using cocopeat and being attack by oryctes larvae,if i use metarhyzium is there any effect on my plant? is it bad or good effect
yes, Metarhizium can grow on soil organic matter and act as decomposers (saprophytic phase) which is beneficial for the soil quality. For your second question, when there is no nutrient source in the soil and the conditions are unfavorable for the fungus growth, fungi usually survive in form of spores/conidia.
