Great tips! I use to think that it's good to switch topics but I totally agree that when the child is engaged with a topic its' best to let them have their way even though I really want to follow my lesson plan!

My child is almost year old,he can't focus on his reading .when he reads on iPad he look around but when he is watching something or playing on an iPad his focus is really good.what should I do to make better his focus in his reading and writing .
Thankyou Ms.@@BryonyRust for the reply.He like pictures books that have dinasours.the day the crayon quits.He looked the picture and figure it out what's happening. We are working on sight words ,how to spell and write.He dont want to write on a paper so I tried that okay you write on white board and than you will get a star or a smiley face ,he is not interested in that:) He did that but keep telling ,I dont want to do work:)
@@noreenjalil2339 even without formal writing, it sounds like he's having lots of valuable exposure to books and reading. The main thing at this age is that he learns to love books! You might like to explore other 'mark making' ideas by searching online, so that he can explore these skills in a 'low pressure' way.

My son is 4, he speaks everything but don't respond to our questions. He do understand our commands and performance what we say but will not respond.
