This lovely plant has been a mysterious volunteer in my Oregon, USA garden for several years! I imagine a little bird brought it. 🥰
I only recently identified it and it’s currently growing as a ground cover, as I’ve no stone walls or features.
Thank you, Orfally Heritage, for creating & sharing this video 🕊

Another well presented video John with a knowledge that is becoming rare these days.
I found a weed growing in my garden called purple toadflax an upstanding plant not a climbing. .
The bee's had a vote and this plant had a landslide victory so I now propagate it all over the garden and it is covered in bee's for around 4 month's of the year ..
Anyone who likes to see happy bee's try and find PURPLE TOADFLAX I believe it only lasts for around 5 years but each plant self seeds and dig up the seedlings in April and move them around the garden, each seedling will reach 1 metre in hight with around 6 stems of multi headed purple flowers that have a long flowering period. .

Very interesting! I'm considering a microscope now, so I can see the process up close.

Well worth it or a hand lens at least is a good start.
