It’s really awesome to see someone like this getting big a lot of us ranch hands have our own songs and would all like to sing them if we had the damn time 😂
I know she was still surprised, but I cannot believe you robbed her of a true reaction of his voice by letting her know how deep it was 😂 There’s nothin better than seeing someone stunned when they hear him for the first time assuming he won’t sound like that
the appalachian mountains end in newfoundland. there are people in newfoundland you could take to ireland and the irish wouldn't know they aren't local. nova scotia (new scotland) has people on cape breton island that still speak gaelic. they all have a tradition of kitchen parties where they break out the instruments, lots of fiddling. in the west/prairies it's all farming and ranches. wilf carter, ian tyson, hank snow, stompin' tom connors, anne murray... folk/country has always been part of canadian music.
From the start: "Oooooo this gonna be good!" 🍿 By the end: "They're being weird again!" 🍿 Y'all are such a fun channel; I love it when new videos appear in my stream 😄
You feel the raven sitting outside the window sill with the wind raging outside. Such a haunting graveyard voice. (and Cathy scratching at the walls outside (or crawling beneath your bed)
Colter Wall is authentic. He spends more time working on a ranch in Rush Lake Saskatchewan than he does touring. I was fortunate enough to see him in Vancouver. Actor Jason Momoa was at the concert
I love how she made if a point to bring out his blue eyes. And he didnt like the point to make up for that us Midwestern men do have beautiful blue eyes.
The fact that Colter works on a ranch and only does music part time and won’t go on Rogan because he has to work immensely shows his character.

When I originally heard that also I liked him that much more...a real hard working person
@@MikeWamplerlucky for me I get to see him play on Valentines Day.
Shows his simple mindedness if he doesn’t own the ranch, town, and county he lives in…😂
Watch "the devil wears a suit and tie" and "sleeping on the blacktop". You won't be disappointed
yes please!
Yesssss
Awesome songs
And “bald butte” is a good one too

To be fair he forces it pretty hard, not as much nowadays
Dude the reference to the good the bad and the ugly was a brilliant observation. He would make an excellent sound track artist for a movie like that.
1:18 bro rethinking the whole relationship 😂 lol great video man
It's been said that Colter can smoke a brisket just by singing to it...
I’ve met Colter several times.. a friend of mine, Anna, was his fiddle player for a good while.
Down to earth guy.. soft spoken.. very genuine
very cool that your friends with Anna. My lifelong friend, Jason Simpson, is his long-haired bass player
@@kataya61 I met him! Talked with him for a bit when they played an Atlanta show.. really cool dude! I remember he was funny and laid back
@@brucemangan3807 that would be him. He's a very down-to-earth country boy, and he is definitely soft-spoken. That too cool that you met him. 😊
Cowpoke and Bury me not on the lone prairie are a couple of my favorites by Colter ❤
About to pick up an awesome knife by a blade company near me that has "Cowpoke" wrote on it, just because of my love for Colter.
Guy has been offered a lot of contracts…nope…he wants to ranch and he will,do this when he has time. Got to love him
The Dead South and Colter Wall are from the same Province!

Colter wall is where it’s at man, definitely need to check out all the brewery sessions and the live version of Rail Road Blues is a must
All his albums are f**ing great. My personal favorite is Songs of the Plains.
@@scouttrooperjohnny plain to see plainsmen is also another fav of mine as well as 13 silver dollars

Funny you mention Post Malone cuz he’s actually a huge fan of Colter’s. He talks about him in a few interviews most notably on Rogan.
Thank you guys, that Was a Taste of Real American Country Music.
I would never call this country. Shame to label it but it's much more in the trad/folk genre.

You really need to check out Shawn James, any of his live performances or covers that he does, you won't regret it, what a voice.
Sweet they finally checked it out

I love y'alls reactions. If you are into this maybe try Mumford and Sons -- I Will Wait or Thistle and Weeds.
Cowboys don't have boarders, we have circuits.
First time hearing him. Thought Johnny Cash. Love the old sound. Heading for the cattle ranch next week.
He was 19 in this video and 21 in the studio version I’m believe.
Studio versions almost always come 1st. Videos are lip-synched to them.
I love how she made if a point to bring out his blue eyes. And he didnt like the point to make up for that us Midwestern men do have beautiful blue eyes.
Canada and the US had no border when it came to cowboys, they wandered and wherever they roamed they roamed
Love it!
Saskatchewan baby 🇨🇦!
From good ol swift current saskatchewan
he looked sideways when "I put three rounds into kate mccannon"
Slowly becomes my favorite couple to watch reaction videos. You guys should check out some movies too^^
The only difference between Canadians and Americans is the French
Love this song should check out amigo the devil
No reaction to when he said he put 3 rounds into Kate was nuts
Well now I know who I will picture looking like Kate McCannon :)
The Canadian cowboy
IMHO an edgier modern Johnny Cash. A guitar, a bass drum, an incredible voice. that's all you need - I have none of those.e
As a Virginia boy all I can say is this young man is fuckin cold!!! 😳🤯🤤🖤
Like you guys! Like and sub from me before the song. Like your chem and connection. Thanks, I love Colter Wall, one of my favorite songwriter.
Do Cowpoke
he's from Saskatchewan
I would have had three rounds in the first verse
Please react to Colter wall motorcycle
Stopped her cheating, though.
Bro just lost his wife to Colter!
Honey mead is redundant
he is the new johnny cash
Not western. Appalachian.
She fr sound likes she wants an American blue eye man lol without the British accent.
This is strange lolol
