@Touchin-Grass That doesn't fix the problem. You can only use one scroll on an item, which with blizzard making the different affixes weighted, just means that you get one more chance to brick. Yay.

i actually prefer to have less loots. at current state, there's just too much gears dropping that it's taking more time looking through which gears to pick than it takes to kill the ubers
-- It would be nice to have a higher drop rate. But PLEASE, not like in S5 where you get a butt ton of stuff but 99.9% of it is garbage. It's funny you say that because I think most people would say that, up to this point, they've been updating the game to make it more and more casual-friendly... But based on what I've seen from the PTR, the changes to drop rates and the gear changes, specifically the Ancestral gear and how rare it seems to be now... They suddenly decided to favor the blasters and to hell with everyone else.

I have no idea why they wasted time on a “stat squish” that will take them another year to tweak until it “works”, when there are so many basic quality of life issues missing. I’d imagine some of that reasoning is to artificially increase player engagement time ( sorting through loot and spending hour in your stash deciding what to keep, what to mule, and what to trash), because they already have most of this stuff in D3.

I really like the idea of tempering and master working, but as it sits, not so much. They need to redo their RNG engine. If you have 6 chances and 3 options you really shouldn't get the same thing 6 times in a row. It's gone from this is awesome at the start of the season to this is a chore I have to perform if I want to progress at the end.
- Rune Glyph Symbols Updated - Tempering and Runewords with Blue & White items available from lvl 1 - Bring back the campfire - GA's & Legendary droprates greatly adjusted - More stash space (trading inventory ie. OR "mark as trade")
About drop rates being currently "too high". I play a lot lot and I only got a good Fractured Winterglass last week and have only one amulet drop with a GA Frigid Finesse to show for two full seasons of farming. Loot and actual decent loot are two entirely different things. If Blizzard insists on lowering drop rates while keeping the ridiculously weighted affix biases then I for one won't be playing. I honestly don't know about these devs and who exactly they think they are serving with this shite.
The obvious thing D4 dev did were two things for the loots, changed sacred to normal, and deleted all ancestral with no GA. Sacred one is meaningless, but obviously deleting all non-GA ancestral is total BS. God damn D4 dev why can’t they just think for themselves and just put out something without needing a big fix?
I feel loot on the PTR bosses was to low take it back to what it was only add access to stash like in hoards and in tormented level only drop ancestral gear but like before let it be like now over certain level let it drop on item power 800 only. on the tempering will be great if they can add a mat that you can add to increase the chance in certain item to roll. Also the agree on infernal hoards need to stack or when broken down lets get all mats back so we don't need to hold on to them.
a trading market place would benefit those casuals you mention who are supposedly not able to get double and triple GA ancestral items.. and on top of that..getting those type of GA items that they bricked.. so need to replace.. without having to spend tons of time getting scrolls to reset the tempers. A trading system would benefit me alot since i play tons but i can't compete w those that use 3rd party trading who gain billions of gold in less than a few days from season start. Regarding ETERNAL realm.. i think the devs should offer more options so players don't always have to option seasons.. the entire focus of d3 and d4 has been seasons.. TOO Much so. But they could make it work by expanding cosmetics and making seasons have exclusive seasonal cosmetics and eternal realm having "legacy" cosmetics.. basically increase more cosmetic options available.. sell more things basically.
I couldn't disagree more re: bosses going back to being loot pinatas. No. No. NO. Having bosses drop 10 pieces of gear makes the drop experience feel cheap as shit. It also forces you to clog up your inventory with lots of useless crap, forces you to return to town more, forces you to spend more time in town, etc. NO. I want to kill monsters, not play inventory mini games. If they need to adjust the quality of drop rates accordingly to help people gear up that's fine, but it should not be done just via dropping more items. Drop less loot, make it feel more meaningful. If you want the 'pinata' effect have it be from gold and mats that can be picked up via walking over them - not looted to inventory.
The Devs are lame asf outta all the campfires there are things that should have been put out but they are so scared of negative feedback and being put on the spot they choose to focus on the few good parts. They took 3 steps forward for season 5 just to take 5 backwards and its nonsense then they said they did not want to slow us down and season 6 we in the crawl phase. There is no synergy in the game nothing really goes together its like Warframe a bunch of game modes with no purpose but to kill everything before the time is up or go here travel for 5 min just to go backward for 10 minutes its pointless. What's the point of having a open world with no open world content.
I didn't care about bricking items as much as other people because I found comparable gear again fairly soon. But with the ancestral change it makes bricking items so much more costly and will definitely be felt

I prefer the lower drop rate cause every time you kill a tormented boss your entire inventory would be full of gear I’d just end up scrapping. However I’d prefer if it was a little higher than what it currently is in the PTR.
I'm fine with bosses dropping less loot. I don't need legendries to drop from Bosses, I'm there to target farm uniques and the rest just means I have to keep sorting my inventory. Too much inventory sorting is not fun.
I hope drop rates stay somewhat low but not be extremely rare to find good gear. There is just too much loot dropping it gets old. People need to get off tiktok and reset their brain.
If you do not get VoH and strictly play Eternal Realm will these Item changes affect those items or do they all change regardless if you get VoH or not?
They made alot of unnecessary changes that no players wanted instead of adding lootfiler, ingame trading, armory, more stash space, vaults and more content. And they need to buff xp and rewards for the campaign and side quests. 5000xp for a quest and 1,8 million xp for turning in whispers. I replayed the campaign and did all the quests and it's to slow compared to farming helltide from 1-100. They game is pretty good in the current season. And why are they trowing multipliers into the game when multipliers is the biggest problem with class and game balance. As soon as I got 2 legendary glyphs with 2 new multipliers torment 4 was easier that wt4 I the live game. And why can we only temper twice and masterwork to 12 on ga items? In season 5 I have 2 ga items because I'm not interested in pursuing pits because there's no rewards for it and barb is to weak. They game has gone from bad to hood and now they made it bad again.
The season 6 theme is "Season of locking stuff you used to have behind a mindless grind". I think having powerful glyphs is actually a good thing post-stat squish. It gives you something to grind for in the early endgame/middlegame. If glyphs were weak post-stat squish I would probably quit the game in its entirety.
Masterworking will be extremly annoying/hard next season, as the cost is very very high in mats. And that they just drop in super boring nm dungeons, that you now have to vacum 100% for all mats drops. Then trying to re-mw, and with bad rng, to get all youre right triple procs, is going to be super hard for 98% of players.
they totally changing the whole game. i had great fun learning the game, S4 and S5 where the best so far. S6 has a couple good life changes, but that's it, the new class and its powers looked fun. Upgrading glyphs has changed, hardly NO drop rate, So many things they have changed makes me not want to play S6 or the game in general. I will try to play it, chances i will be going back to D3. Thank you so much for the video, and a great day.
There’s zero reason whatsoever for the tempering and masterworking limitations on regular legendarys ancestrals already have GAs and 50 more item power also the new masterworking costs need a massive reduction since they’re all using obducite now needing like 10k+ just to fully mw one item and if you want to triple crit a stat you’re gna need to save up like 150k+ mats which is going to take days of grinding which is just ridiculous to how it is currently
The stupid thing they ever added to the game was the penalty phase. if they give us a positive anything they have to give us negative but the bad outweighs the good lol across the board.
I hate the rng on rng on rng and also haveing to spend a billion gold for a tiny upgrade once u get close to bis its just not worth trying to get gear better then that even more when every few months you just have to reget all you gear again
Everyone forgets to get the NEW power you need to buy the DLC otherwise you are stuck behind everyone else that has the DLC the new class doesn’t matter but the new POWER think about it…..its pay to win at this point especially with the PVP BS
Pretty sure we need other mats and only one spark to craft a mythic next season. The sparks will likely not be the limiting factor the other mats will be.
i now that is a point of view, but for me less loot is better. and people dont need the perfect gear to do all content. thats only for the min-max people. just need to make the reroll scroll for brick items infinit ahah
It goes both ways. Totally agree on the time wasted sifting through crap loot that is essentially auto-salvage... However, based on what I saw on the PTR, they've reduced the drop rate too far. Imagine... You can comfortably farm Torment 3, you're trying to find an Ancestral or two to hopefully temper/masterwork and move up to T4, see "where you're at" and after grinding for two hours you've finally gotten not one but two Ancestral pieces of gear... And they both have garbage stats, with a GA on mana per kill. That's just a kick in the groin.
They nerfed drop rate without buffing loot quality, that's the problem. Most of the GA's you get are still useless stats and enchanting affixes is still heavily weighted against you. The nerfed drop rate also makes tempering feel even worse, imagine getting your one GG item for the entire season and then it bricks. I can see a lot of players getting bored and quitting half way through S6.
For the life of me i can't understand the tempering/masterworking argument. You end it by saying "there's no skill involved," when there ISN'T supposed to be skill involved because its an RNG based system. Yes, they should fix the repeat rolls so you're not getting the same thing 6 times in a row. But how can you argue that there's "no skill" in an RNG based system, while in the same breathe saying that you want to incorporate a way to GUARANTEE that you hit your roll which ALSO has no skill involved? So you want to completely halve RNG factor out of something that SHOULD be completely RNG and instead introduce the ability to 100% guarantee that you get the roll that you want? That makes no sense. If this argument is SPECIFICALLY and ONLY because of the terrible drop rates then MAYBE i could agree with that, but anything outside of that is just....... not right. Like yeah, the system is NOT great in the slightest, but how does that "solution" fix anything? You'll end up having people complain that the game is "too easy" all over again because of it. Bricking stuff does indeed suck ween, but to completely halve the RNG aspect of it instead of tweaking the rates of it would hurt more than it would fix imo. The "scrolls" you mention would have to be extremely rare drops and can only be used at a certain level, otherwise you'll be running around with completely min-max gear at a low level like they are right now lol. With that being said, i agree with practically everything else that you said.
The only disagreement I have with what’s said is about eternal characters. They are doing this on an expansion drop and you should have to grind for new gear in the expansion. Nothing about your gear should stay top tier even if you don’t own the expansion.
with the bricking i dont see people moaning at POE and or LE when it happens? and with regards to the people on Eternal even the 540 gear is very strong because you have all the tempers etc and what are they playing Eternal for if the y have everything they need! very strange IMO
Loot games...not sure why game companies that make loot games leave out the one important part of that game the loot....when I play these types of game I want to be showered with loot when I kill a Boss or an important tuff enemy.
When Blizzard adds the armory system to D4, then it will have a huge advantage over PoE 2 and LE. D4s competition doesn’t have armory systems nor do they have mercenaries. Rune world need to be fixed and they will be fixed and when they are fixed then D4 will have more depth in build variety which it needs to compete with PoE 2. PoE 2 is already launching with 8 classes so Blizzard needs to make runewords feel great.
people complain about too much loot and then complain about not enough loot............ never ending complaining. NO to another 'ENIGMA' type of broken runeword. i can hear the complaints already.
The issue is the quality of the loot, in proportion to the difficulty of the content. Now, in season 5... I've seen one 3ga drop in a week with about 6 hours of play a day... I tempered it and missed both rolls... or you get 1ga and it's on like thorns... or a Stat your not ever going to use. So right now you're getting tons of items with a very small amount of items are actually worth using... and the possibility of low roll or missing on tempering... Season 6 may change that. But I doubt by much... just means seeing less items with the same rarity ratios... not actually addressing the issue.
Path Of Economy Simulator, where drops are so bad, you could kill a uber boss 100 times and not get something on his loot table. Freaking SCREW that game.

I hate the rng on rng on rng and also haveing to spend a billion gold for a tiny upgrade once u get close to bis its just not worth trying to get gear better then that even more when every few months you just have to reget all you gear again
No loot will be down bad for mats.. veiled crystal abstruse sigils
Why have an eternal realm if you are going to constantly mess with our items and they become no good. This is why I am leaving.
How about just open up all the torment tiers and let people play whichever they feel like. I dont want to be stuck on hard until lvl 50.
Everyone forgets to get the NEW power you need to buy the DLC otherwise you are stuck behind everyone else that has the DLC the new class doesn’t matter but the new POWER think about it…..its pay to win at this point especially with the PVP BS
I'm content with D3. This game has unending negative news.
I think they should put all new content in ptr so we know.
agree, this way we can test it :)
Not MUST change, wiser if you say THINK should be changed.
lmao. No. Objectively speaking. The way loot drops are in PTR MUST be changed.
Can we just craft the new mythics if we have enough sparks?
Pretty sure we need other mats and only one spark to craft a mythic next season. The sparks will likely not be the limiting factor the other mats will be.
Don't hold your breath.
People are already. Do what I am doing, go back and play Diablo 2 Resurrected. Maybe in 5 years Diablo IV might be a good game.
i now that is a point of view, but for me less loot is better. and people dont need the perfect gear to do all content. thats only for the min-max people. just need to make the reroll scroll for brick items infinit ahah
This 100000%. Less loot is better.
D4 dEVS AND Blizzard HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HECK THE ARE DOING ANYMORE.
Runewords only for expansion??? WTF bro, d4 goin to be rlly bad, I hate this so much
The World Boss has become a joke. Don't even bother anymore.
Im a new player i barely the game a few weeks now and this change well mess up the game :/
Wants a lootfilter with low droprate…kids these day… 😂
I wish last epoch and diablo 4 combined lol
So what happens to our eternal gear
All trash going forward
Why do you have trade chat on? People and their dumb questions and dumb opinions spamming your screen while you play...
100% agree with you why the last couple seasons did they make It so much better to just rip the drop rates down again season 6 huge L
Absolutely NO to loot piniata.
Bring back the RMAH I miss making $400 month selling gems
The only disagreement I have with what’s said is about eternal characters. They are doing this on an expansion drop and you should have to grind for new gear in the expansion. Nothing about your gear should stay top tier even if you don’t own the expansion.
IF IT AINT 2GA THROW IT AWAY. lol
Why they keep fucking eternal players?
Slaydra you're the best for making this video, thank you so much! the devs need to watch this, get rhyker to react this !
or rax
or llamma
or lucky luciano
or wudi
or Rob
More awful advice. I hope blizzard ignores every word you say.
with the bricking i dont see people moaning at POE and or LE when it happens?
and with regards to the people on Eternal even the 540 gear is very strong because you have all the tempers etc and what are they playing Eternal for if the y have everything they need! very strange IMO
People want this game to be too easy smh
Hours and hours and hours with nothing to show for it is not "hard".
Laughs in path of exile. Trust this is arpg on training wheels. As a mostly solo player melting every boss negating intended mechanics is boring
@@BroBdoubleE i can live with a constructive feedback instead of some folks just say "this is ass, i'm uninstalling"..........
Sounds like poe language
Path Of Economy Simulator, where drops are so bad, you could kill a uber boss 100 times and not get something on his loot table. Freaking SCREW that game.
@@insertnamehere4419 true, same state is experienced after 100 Zir runs, the next 100 most likely won't bring something new, that's why I want to see various mechanics as a way of gaining more power
Finally im first hahah
Too much power everywhere, nerf everything !!
Lootfilters g'dammit !!
dude i have all 5 classes geared all up everything and im fucking bored as fuck most ppl don't even play the full season why cause they got all the gear upgrades everything im struggling to play waiting for the XPansion and new season it took me 3 days to lvl and fully gear and upgrade a barb its laughable how easy it is
