    It's amazing how you can zoom in that close and actually see the moon moving in the view finder.

    • @JAYKAYPHOTOGRAPHY
      @JAYKAYPHOTOGRAPHY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm not that sure to be perfectly honest... I'm assuming its the 3000mm optical zoom and the 4× digital that helps !!

    • @billy7448
      @billy7448 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@JAYKAYPHOTOGRAPHY no doubt an impressive setup. What I was referring to is that the rotation of the earth, plus the extreme zoom features, is allowing you to see the moon move slowly across the view finder. But stand outside and look at the moon with your naked eye, you can't see it move.
      I was also wondering how much of a nudge you were giving the equipment to keep the moon within view, I imagine it would be very tiny.

    • @JAYKAYPHOTOGRAPHY
      @JAYKAYPHOTOGRAPHY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@billy7448 yes any slight movement is magnified by 3000mm zoom even a slight wind on the camera itself causes the auto focus to try and adjust as well as the brightness sensor struggle which just ruins the shot so I have to film when conditions are perfect so no wind and not a warm night or too cold as even the heat escaping from house roofs can cause a unforgiving shimmy so you lose detail . I hope this answers you question. Finally I estimate about 20mm on the tripod per 5 mins of film to keep up . Thanks again for your positive comments!!
