They were so wrong about the vr pitch since they barely know anything about it. They made such a massive oversight vr people using vr are always looking for ways to increase their immersion.
True. Also I think that gamers aren't lazy, they just don't want to stop gaming to do other things. Although the valuation was still too much and the market for the treadmill is smaller than for the headset not equivalent.
Maaan I'd use that Omni every day. It's smaller than a treadmill and waaaaay more fun. When you're having fun, you don't feel exhausted, you feel invigorated. I play games with low player counts to the top sellers because I'm a low spender. There's ALWAYS whales who outspend the rest, even in these unpopular games. Gaming has consistently outsold Movies for years now. Gemers have been asking for something like this since the PS1 released Tomb Raider. Had I the capital I would have invested.
In the third one when Daymond was telling a bit of his story, I love when they do that. It really shows that you can make a lot of mistakes and still turn things around.
For the first product (the fort) - parents may hate Velcro, but not enough that they’ll pay 200 extra for a product with magnets. The dude has so many great ideas but made some poor choices. I hope he listens to the sharks’ advice.
Why doesn’t he make them inflatable, he could ship them flat then customers pump them up? If he did that they could be shipped at a fraction of the cost and it would allow customers to deflate and store them.
Then there’s the idea of the pump. Who wants to pump each individual piece for a few hours to then inflate them again? Reason why regular beds will always be preferable over air mattresses.
I love hearing the Sharks struggles when they got into business. People see them being rich and wealthy and are hating. It takes sacrifice most aren't willing to do what it takes.

I do this now but because the opening is small it takes a while to freeze plus the bottle takes up too much room. Also
I think the sharks really didn't understand the market of Omni and missed out on the value it could bring. "Gamers" are a much more diverse segment than they clearly think. People who play video games with the purchasing power to buy Omni would probably love the chance to be active while playing instead of sitting for hours or taking the time/effort involved in going to a boring gym. Even people who don't usually play video games might get into it for that aspect of genuine play. Plus, the average physique of "gamers" in the public eye is changing--I mean sheesh, just look at Ify Nwadiwe!
