- Today, we are going to show you my fabric and notions haul that I got when I went to the Lori's Country Cottage and Johnson's Sewing Center. Both quilt stores are just awesome!

Great to see that others cant resist a good deal! I was limiting myself until we went on Holidays in Newfoundland. Who knew there were so many shops tucked away in little villages. The pharmacy carried fabric, the small food/convenience/tourist trinkets store had fabric, my friends mom has a small store in her yard and then the meca of quilt stores in St. John,East Coast Quilting made me drool. Fortunately i have a very understanding husband. Now i have to stay away from shopping for awhile. I did stick to mostly sale fabric but puffins had to come home with me!

Love to see what other people buy for fabric and notions. I need to shop my stash before I buy more fabric however my local quilt shop just sent out a coupon in their latest email. I can never resist a good coupon.

I think the Lucy Boston quilt pattern uses honeycombs rather than elongated hexagons.
