Your advice for cranking without starting was much appreciated! I did the oil supply reroute and it allowed me to test I had oil in a bucket before hooking to turbo. Great work!
OUTSTANDING video repair! I've had a Turbo code for at least 4 years and now with 245,000 .... I better get busy and replace it - 2007 Sierra/4x4 - Stock.
Did you need to use a tech II for a cane sensor relearn? I’m installing a RDS on my LLY tomorrow. Heard it will relearn itself once the truck gets up to temp?
Is this an OE replacement? Any particular reason for not going ahead and upgrading when you had to replace? New to the diesel deal and trying to plan my LB7 Burb swap.
This video makes it seem so simple to swap the turbo. I’m looking to do mine on my lb7 and after watching your video I said “hmm that’s it?” Haha What’s the vein sensor and why do you have to relearn it?
Thanks Nate. Did the turbo on my silverado with 305000 miles. Your video was wonderful. Without it I would never have been able. Saved $3200.
Glad it helped! That's awesome to be able to save that much money!

@@xXJKIRK70Xx did you need to do a vane sensor relearn with a tech 2 or did it do it without needing a handheld?
@user-sb2uh7ke9z i took it to the chevy dealership the calibrated the new sensor for about $50 in oregon
Good info. Appreciate you being as through as you were without the unnecessary stuff👍🏻👍🏻

@@NaztyNate that’s what i’m thinkin

Dealer to relearn ? Doesn't it relearn itself by leaving key in run postiontion without starting 90 seconds .. ?
Did you need to use a tech II for a cane sensor relearn? I’m installing a RDS on my LLY tomorrow. Heard it will relearn itself once the truck gets up to temp?
I am not sure if it will re-learn itself. I took it to a tuner. I think he did use a tech 2 actually.
I was told if I clear the relearn codes on my CTS3 it'll do the relearn by itself? Anyone know if that's true?
Turbo part number and where did you get it?
Missed ya buddy hope all is well!
I appreciate it man! Everything is good here! Been taking a break from working on stuff/filming because life is catching up..I plan to film more soon!
What was the noise you had on the old turbo

Yes it is, I just didn't want to re tune my truck. No other reason than that! There are tons of great options for upgrades
@@NaztyNate I'll hit you up for that A/C line guy if this deal goes down! Hopefully he makes them for an 01/LB7 combo too!

LB7 doesn't have that sensor! and it is a bit different on an LB7 but its definitely do-able!
About how long does a job like this take? Everyone I've asked keeps telling me it will take about 12 hours.
That's probably about right. I did it over a weekend
Where u get ur turbo?
What part number turbo is that?
How is different from this truck to a lmm
Should be the same on an LMM
