Collab again Chandler and ash, it'll be super cool, after 5 years, you both became more aware about yourself and whole LGBT community, you should totally collab, plzz collab, it'll be super fun 😃😃😃😃😃😀
It's interesting that Chandler says in this video that they don't want to take hormones, and now they're on Testosterone. Shows that people change their mind, and not everything has to be set in stone.
I love both of you so much. So happy you made this video and it's so cute seeing how chandler reacted to Ashley's comments and how Ashley was super excited about everything they were saying. Much love 💜
Hey there Chandler! Found you from Ashley's channel & subscribed. I hadn't realized that agender people could also be referred to as transgender before, but of course it makes sense given the definitions. Glad to be learning more already and to be along with you for the ride :)
Hey I loved this video it's awesome to see trangender topics being talked about and explained! One thing I was a little dubious about was the way you used the word "transition" it seemed as though you were using it solely in a medical sense (ie., hormones surgery, ect) but a person can also undergo social or legal transition. Social and legal transitions are just as valid and important as medical transitions so I think it's important not to overlook them. Also you implied that being agender means that a person does not want to transition (at least medically). It's possible it just came off that way because that is how you personally seemed to feel, but I think it's important to recognized that some agender people do want to take medical steps to feel more comfortable in their bodies
I love the two of you! Very well explained! I was so excited to see you put genderflux in there! I used to identify as genderflux before realizing I am an agender that just likes to present femininely sometimes. People would often ask me what the difference between genderfluid and genderflux was and I even made a video on that as well!
I thought I was cisgender, but it's probably not normal for cisgender females to feel grossed out whenever they're referred to as a girl/woman. Agender/nonbinary feel like better labels
So I was lying down watching this video, and genderfluid came up and I was like, yeah okay, so they aren't going to do one for genderflux because they already covered genderfluid and then you guys did genderflux and I gasped and jumped up and I'm so happy! Genderflux always gets left out of these things and it makes me feel so invisible! Thank you so much for including us fluxes!
Another learning experience. Loved it and learned a couple new terms. THANK YOU for making learning so pleasurable. And I'll NEVER tire of seeing that beautiful smile. Never stop smiling, it just makes you so beautiful inside and out. Hugz from the old gay guy.
Ashley sent me! Okay but let's be real here when I was watching her video I was thinking you seemed rad anyway so I probably would have come over if she had sent me or not.
I'd like to add one more definition. Pangender: Identifying with all genders all at once with or without varying fluctuations in feelings towards a said gender. I have two friends who identify as such and i hope i got the definition correct.
This really helped me get a better understanding of demigender/demigirl/demiboy. I was thinking I was agender but also kinda guyish but didn't identify as a man so now I'm thinking I'm actually demiboy.
I have an honest question about being bigender. I don't really understand how one person can feel that they are for example a male and that they have no gender at all at the same time. Or am I not understanding this properly. I would really love to know! However this video was really educational :) Stay awesome
bigender means having 2 genders so you're right. Ashley did make a little flub because feeling partially a boy and partially agender would actually be either genderflux, genderfluid, or demigender.
+ChandlerNWilson bigender can also mean there can be fluidity involved, but limited to only those two genders, which is also how this scenario could work.
As a genderflux transmasculine person, I would add a definition to genderflux: Genderflux is similar to genderfluid, but it's more localized. Genderflux can be when someone fluctuates between a certain gender and a third gender, agender, etc. Terms like nonbinaryflux and agenderflux come from the definition in the video, but that definition missed the above point.
I told my mother I wanted to be a male but she says no because she says it wrong an gross. I feel like I'm stuck in a girls body but my mother says no you're not. I need help what should I do any tips. ((I'm 13 btw))
Neutrois can mean wanting to transition to agender? Awesome. Did not know. I feel like this sort of thing should be more of a thing, you know? I feel it.
So... If a bigender person is a male and agender is it like a day-to-day thing? Because I don't get how someone could identify as no gender but also male at the same time
+Carli Smith yeah when someone is bigender their gender is one gender one day and the other gender maybe the next day or the next week or whatever. if they were both male and agender at the same time they'd be a demiguy/demiboy
+Carli Smith As I understood it it kind of depends on the persons interpretation. The day to day thing is more often called Genderfluid, where as bigender is someone experiencing both genders at the same time. So like, I don't specifically identify as Bigender, but I kind of 'meet the requirements' because I identify as agender, but male at the same time. I don't switch back and forth ,my gender is constant, just two at the same time. Bigender is almost kind of like an umbrella term for lots of identities, (bigender can me male and female at the same time, female and demiguy, male and agender, agender and genderqueer, or any other combination of any gender identity), while also being an identity in and of itself. So someone can be bigender and like +thetigerkai said, demiboy/demiguy, at the same time, just like someone can identify as genderqueer, and agender. Agender is under that genderqueer umbrella. TLDR, Genderfluid is changing, bigender is at the same time, atleast from what I understand. I hope that made a little bit of sense.
As a bigender human, for me, it's sort of situational. I personally don't notice it, but people have said that, depending on the thing, I act more masculine or more feminine. There are some things that make me feel dysphoric, most things don't I'm comfortable in my body, but wouldn't care if I woke up with male genitals. It's just sort of being... Both, I guess?
+xTheBeautifulLiex it means 'to long didn't read' basically if someone scrolled to the bottom and just wanted a summary, you can put it after a TLDR notice
Ashley sent me, and I'm so happy yo subscribe. I need to make my second vlog, I'm doing a transition/whatever else I can think of vlog. It's tremendously easy to find reasons to not record.
I have a friend who is very confused with their gender and thinks that they are wrong and broken for not feeling the gender that they were assigned at birth. Their mom keeps telling them that they are a girl and they will always be a girl. I tried to explain to them that their mom is just confused and is scared, but I don't exactly know what they are feeling so I would appreciate it if you could tell them and kind of explain to them that if they want to be a boy and feel like a boy and want to be called Tyler that is awesome and they should do whatever they want and no one can tell them what their true identity is.
Exactly! People should be able to express whatever gender they feel they are! Maybe your friend Tyler should watch some trans* (Ftm - female-to-male) youtubers such as Kaden Runner, uppercaseCHASE1, Tyler Turner, TheRealAlexBertie, Jake Edwards and Benton and just see if they can relate to them. Hope your friend is able to express himself soon :)
+Marianne Baly They might also want to watch Ryan Cassata because he identifies as male but never wants to go on Testosterone. He's also a really talented musician :)
My mom always says that thing, about me being a girl and always being a girl... I wish your friend the best of luck and hope that they can feel better about themself soon. :)
Quick question, if your confronted with a social situation where you are not sure of someone's preferred pronouns or identified gender should you ask the person or refer to them with a guess and wait to be corrected. Also if you were to ask could that possibly offend the person under subject? If it does how can I refuse the situation?
Would anyone be able to just clear this up? Gender fluid is the feeling of moving fluidly between genders for example; a person could feel like a male, female, agender, bigender but at different times. So one day they could feel masculine and another they feel like a female?
quick question not trying to be offensive just trying to self educate but can gender fluidity be between nonbinary genders? (like genders other than boy and girl)
Actually, I think the definitions of Agender differ from person to person? While it's also known as lacking in gender/gender-neutral, i know many people (including myself) who perceive it as something of a 'third gender', not male, female, fluidly, nor neutrally or as a midpoint. I guess in a sense, Agender is something than encompasses all genders without a specific label, something that the specifics of differ from person to person. While it is also an umbrella term, it's a specific label that people use for themselves (i'll get to this) to pinpoint their identity as otherwise it is unidentifiable or unknown. I guess one way that makes sense in my head- as i'm incapable of using metaphors that aren't lengthy or make sense- is all the stars in the universe, or even just the milky way. If each one were a specific gender, and you identified as one particular one, gave it a name- idk people wouldn't take your star seriously, if that makes sense? In society today, the more 'unusual'- often coming hand in hand with more specific- genders and sexualities are ridiculed and invalidated. So Agender's a really great way to say 'hey. I'm one of those stars out there.' or even 'i'm that particular star, and i call it Agender'. It's whatever floats the persons boat, i guess. What you (Chandler) was totally valid, I just thought i'd put this out there as a little extra for anyone questioning, as i know for myself it was a long and painful road, not really finding a definition that totally defined me. After toying with Demigirl for 800 years (like, over a year straight of figuring it out. This stuff can take time, kids.), i recently realized i identify as Genderflux- Between Female, Agender (in the 'third gender' sense) & Neutrois (with no dysphoria or desire to transition, just this is the 'gendervoid' label that i like. It fits) Tl;Dr, You decide your meaning of the label. It's there to help you with your identity, not as a 'you must feel a, b & c to identify as x' checklist. //I just wrote i goddamn essay about stars. N!ce.
+RJ Routhan After typing all of this out i rewatched to double check and realized you already said it regarding Non-Binary lmao bye Ah well we're all twinkly little stars.

you're such an amazing person, it's always fun to watch your videos! :-)

ASH SENT ME AND I'M SORRY IT WAS SO HARD FOR YOU TO COME OUT BUT YOU TAUGHT ME A LOT ABOUT BEING TRANS AND I AM EDUCATED NOW THANK YOU!!!
So I was lying down watching this video, and genderfluid came up and I was like, yeah okay, so they aren't going to do one for genderflux because they already covered genderfluid and then you guys did genderflux and I gasped and jumped up and I'm so happy! Hey, i found you from Ashley Mardell's video and when i heard you say your name i was like damn, i love their name its super great and awesome
this was actually in credibly helpful especially as a person exploring gender (aka a twelve year old)
Sorry if this is too personal but out of my curiosity when you need to use a public bathroom do you go to the women's or men's?
***** I wasn't asking you. Chandler can speak for them self.
I don't think it's too personal, honestly most people say it without having been asked
+Ash Rivera thank you..and I didn't mean it in a rude way. I was just very curious.
+brozza981 people who are Agender may want this question answered as they may not know what bathroom to use themselves and want Chandlers view.
Whatever bathroom they feel like using i guess?
Another learning experience. Loved it and learned a couple new terms. THANK YOU for making learning so pleasurable. And I'll NEVER tire of seeing that beautiful smile. Never stop smiling, it just makes you so beautiful inside and out. Hugz from the old gay guy.
loved seeing this collab!!! very educational
I'm commenting for the other video "Payton does my makeup" I just wanted to say YALL TOO CUTE TO FUNCTION!!!!!!
Wow this is confusing haha but thank you I learned a lot! Didn't know I had such little knowledge on this!
I'm A-gender and I'm scared to come out and that is the scariest thing ever. I just found this channel and it is my favorite thing ever!
Ashley sent me! Okay but let's be real here when I was watching her video I was thinking you seemed rad anyway so I probably would have come over if she had sent me or not.
Ah it's so nice to watch this ^_^ I only recently came out as Trans :)
I'd like to add one more definition. Pangender: Identifying with all genders all at once with or without varying fluctuations in feelings towards a said gender. I have two friends who identify as such and i hope i got the definition correct.
This actually educated me a lot becuase my definitions of GenderQueer and a lot of the other ones mentioned were super fuzzy
such an inspiration! 💕
This really helped me get a better understanding of demigender/demigirl/demiboy. I was thinking I was agender but also kinda guyish but didn't identify as a man so now I'm thinking I'm actually demiboy.
Yay, genderflux was in here! I am happy now
Chandler!!!! you're amazing!!!!!
Your so amazing chandler 🙌🏻🙌🏻💖
Hi chandler, I love you so much because I think your such a great inspiration for everyone
This was fun, and helped me identify my self better :)
So as of now my best definition is "aromantic pansexual demi-man"
omg my 2 favorite TH-camrs I love it
this helps me a lot thanks chan.!! 👌🏼
Love this learned a lot!.
I am gender fluid 😊
Where is Chandler's shirt from, or what is the type of shirt called? Great video?
+ Lily Evanora if your romantic and sexual attraction is the same, you can just say the prefix. So in your case you would be poly and genderfluid
OMG!! I never knew about this!!😱 but glad that i know now😄!
Love both of you
the voice difference!!

Diffuse not refuse
+Marianne Baly Meant if you don't have the option, not if you have not time.
Chandler, u are so cool!
Try and Count how many times Ashley said "essential" haha
to be honest with you I feel that I fit for transgender sometimes
Your dog is dying!! (?) pdta: Love you Chandler
