I've had the 16" bar version for five years now which I think is the same drive as this 18" version. With it sitting on a shelf over time it will leak a little oil so best have something to catch it in the vehicle. They certainly do have a fair bit of power with a 21m/sec chain speed & I love mine. I also have the 18v 12" AEG chainsaw too for basic pruning with half the chain speed but still a capable little saw.
Wrong! Ryobi don't have a 58v chainsaw. Closest Ryobi have to this the RY40580 40v 18" blade and they don't look the same. The only thing in common is Ryobi and AEG are both produced by Techtronic Industries under license

I have the 16 inch version and like it, but it leaks bar oil almost as fast I can fill it up.
