Ryobi 36 Volt HP Brushless Chainsaw Demonstration and Review. 18 inch Brushless with 6 Ah Battery

I have invested in the latest Ryobi 36V HP Chainsaw.
It has an 18 inch Bar. Brushless and comes with a 6Ah battery with 6A Fast Charger.
Battery Charges in about 1 hour from flat.

I have missed you!! We have a common phrase up here "Go big or stay home." My husband had 2 gas-powered chain saws that he used on a regular basis. The battery saws would have never made it for him as we heated our home with a wood stove. Now that he has passed, I don't use the wood stove as I can't haul the wood in --3.9c weather. I have a little hand-held battery operated 8" saw that I love for limbing up or pruning my fruit trees and that's all I need. I suppose the boys will enjoy their dad's old Husqvarnas. How was your winter down there? We are just heading into winter here with daytime highs averaging 15.5c and nighttime lows averaging middle -6.7c. We had a VERY dry, hot summer but a beautiful fall. The trees were adorned with the most beautiful leaf colors. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons although I must confess I do love the fresh veg in the summer. How are your chooks? How is the pond doing? Any more videos coming soon, what have you been up to? I turned 73 this year and enjoy watching the jobs that you do and the beautiful scenery by which you are surrounded. Hi Gail, Typical Spring weather here. Hot then cold then hot again. Always windy. Your husband was a smart man. I bought the electric as my main gas saw died. Looks like I will be getting a new gas one as well. Turtles are out of hibernation and eating like crazy. Lost a couple of chooks. Egg bound unfortunately. Need to post the final video of the Bungalow renovation. Coming soon.

Hello Simon, were you using a full chisel cut chain? on the new battery powered chain saw. Just curious, my first saw was a Stihl 070 with a 21 inch bar and even with that I found chisel cut chains run better. Still impressed with the performance of this 36V Ryobi it does what it can for what it is designed for

Hey Frank, Just the chain that came with it so far. I think the best upgrade would be a 12 amp battery but that is the same price as the saw so might replace my failed petrol unit with a new one. The Battery Ones are still not quite there yet.

Whats the runtime like on the 6ah battery?

Depends what you are cutting. Big stuff. Not long at all. Smaller stuff, 30 mins tops.
